Hardworking nurses and providers. They don't just prescribe meds because you want it. They treat the whole person and make sure they prescribe what's needed not just for the immediate but also for the long term, which I appreciate

Don't go here they diagnosed me with the common cold. I went to a different clinic. Got diagnosed with sinus infection and ear infection. Waste of time and money.

2nd visit to CVS clinic...again, extremely dissapointed due to LACK OF BASIC MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE! Checked-in, medical assistant (all female staff, fyi) asks reason for visit. I state "possible UTI", immediately face changes & states "men don't have UTIs", "would you like to get tested for an STD?" I reply "I understand men usually don't get UTIs but" She cuts me off and walks off to ask Nurse Practitioner (who's with another patient in a room) if I should be seen...Returns to inform me "we do not treat urinary tract infections, you need to go to the emergency room" I informed her that's not appropriate & likely would take over 12 hours to be seen in an ER...Again, stated they could not see me AND online system is "wrong" for allowing me to schedule a visit for a urinary tract infection. "that's why we're here because we know better than a computer"Well, MEN DO GET URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS. A BASIC HISTORY OF MY SYMPTOMS SHOULD'VE BEEN TAKEN, THEN MAYBE OFFERED A URINALYSIS WITH CULTURE & SENSITIVITY STUDY (AT A MINIMUM)...AND IF THE FEMALE NURSE PRACTITIONER FELT A NEED FOR AN STD TEST, THEN ORDER A PANEL (FYI I DID NOT HAVE RISKS FACTORS). BUT INSTEAD THEY REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY SERVICE BECAUSE "MALES DO NOT GET URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS" AND BOTH FEMALE STAFF COULD NOT THINK TO EVEN ORDER A SIMPLE URINALYSIS STUDY. THAT WOULD NOT HAVE REQUIRED A PHYSICAL EXAM IF THAT'S WHAT THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT---LOOKING AT A PATIENTS' "PRIVATE PARTS". THESE CVS CLINICS WOULD BE GREAT FOR COMMUNITIES BUT THEY HIRE NURSE PRACTITIONERS WITH POOR CLINICAL KNOWLEDGE AND ZERO DESIRE TO WORK IN A DEMANDING FIELD. THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT BUT I RECEIVED A TEXT FROM CVS "SORRY YOU COULD NOT MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT"---I DID NOT MISS MY APPOINTMENT! YOUR STAFF SIMPLY REFUSED TO TREAT A MALE PATIENT. PLEASE SEND YOUR NURSE PRACTITIONERS BACK TO SCHOOL FOR BASIC CLINICAL SKILLS OR HIRE PHYSICIANS! IF NEITHER ARE OPTIONS, THEN PLEASE CLOSE THESE MINUTE CLINICS AND SAVE THE STOCK HOLDERS MILLIONS OF WASTED DOLLARS ON STAFFING COSTS BECAUSE THEY'RE MISINFORMING THE PUBLIC ON HEALTH MATTERS AND SOME MAY END UP IN HURTING PATIENTS! BTW, CHATGTP DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WHEN ASKED "CAN MEN HAVE URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS"...YES THEY CAN! FOR MANY IMPORTANT PHYSIOLOGICAL REASONS, ESPECIALLY THOSE OLDER THAN 40!! IF PAYING CASH FOR THESE VISITS, SAVE YOUR $$ AND ASK CHATGPT, THEN PROCEED WITH THOSE RECOMMENDATIONS. AT LEAST UNTIL CVS HAS PROPERLY EDUCATED/TRAINED PROVIDERS/MDS, WHO WONT ALTER THE ONLINE SCHEDULING SYSTEM TO SAY THAT YOU MISSED THE APPOINTMENT TO COVER THEIR BUTTS!!

First time I've used the Minute Clinic. It was quick and easy. I made the appointment 20 hours ahead of time. It would have taken me weeks to get in to see my primary! I highly recommend!

I am very happy with the medical attention provided by the NP of this tiny medical facility. Professionalism, friendly attention, attention to details and questions on my health conditions during my visit. The NP Jamie Wadas was the only one staff at the time of my visit. Even though she was the only one, I felt comfortable with the care provided. I would come back if I have to in the future. I am very greatfull the the attention.

Needed to get a TB skin test. Arrived at the Bulverde and Evans road location during the time they were at lunch, but they were due back in less than ten minutes, so I waited. The checkin kiosk was broken. The young lady returned did not acknowledge me or ask if I needed help. There was a young girl with her father ahead of me which apparently had an appointment , so she called them, still had not acknowledged me,. 42 minutes later she finished with them and called for the next appointment who wasn't there, then she asked if I had an appointment, when I told her no she said I needed to get one using the Kiosk. I informed her it was broken, she tried it, it didn't work so she just said we don't accept walk-ins. I asked her where the signage was that said that and she just called the appointment again who finally arrived and walked away. Very POOR customer service

HORRIBLE customer service. It’s impossible to contact directly. Call center staff and on-site staff both brush off any requests for help pointing clients to “go use the website.” If you actually need quick healthcare, look elsewhere.

Went the other day to get a physical for my son and I was told they were closed when they didn’t close for another 20 min. Another lady there told she had just gotten there and they let her sign in. My husband went again early Saturday, only to be told they were booked up and good luck getting a physical on Saturday. Instead of offering us solutions or trying to help us they said “good luck.” Went down the street to Fast Aid and got it right then in there. I understand being booked up but instead of saying good luck maybe offer some alternative help. Not friendly when I went, and worse when my husband went.

I had not only one but two appointments cancelled with less then 24 hours notice. Both times the reason I was given in the automated email was “weather or staff.” You’d think they would know 4 days in advance if they would have staff available. Clinic no longer allows walk ins either so I’m forced to make an appointment several days in advance to just have it cancelled. This happened at 2 separate locations so I doubt it’s truly a staffing issue. I used to be a loyal customer - no more.

Scheduled my 6yr old daughter for an appointment 2 days in advance. Got there on time and was told they don't see pediatric patients. Would of been nice if they would of called me in advance to let me know she couldn't be seen before I drove all the way there.

Please go somewhere else. I had an appointment for a quick strep test, but there was very high traffic so I walked in 6 minutes late. The lady at the clinic not only refused service to me for being late even though there was still plenty of time left for my appointment time (which she admitted) - certainly time for a 30 second swab. She raised her voice and was terribly rude, bullying me in front of other customers and staff. I have never been treated so poorly anywhere. For the record, I never once raised my voice or was rude to her, so it was completely uncalled for.

They say online and on their answering machine that walk-ins are welcome, this is absolutely not true they turned me away for not having an appointment. But even to find out this information I waited 20 minutes.

Why advertise that you take walk ins when you don't take walk ins? You can walk in and make an appointment, and be seen if they have appointments, that means you are seen by appointment only and not as a walk in

Michelle shouldn't be allowed to give anyone any medical advice. This person doesn't know what they are doing. I went for a flu test and she scared me to go to the ER. Even the doctors where i went said Michelle didn't know what she was talking about. She should be removed from the facility and shouldn't be practicing.
