Food was pricey but ok (though my steak arrived a little cold and another one had wrong cooking), wine way overpriced (took a 150 usd cabernet sauvignon that tasted as a 15 usd), service nice but a little

Anniversary night ! Met up with a group of my friends here for their anniversary dinner and I’ll just get down to it , I asked for my filet steak medium rare pink not bloody as we all know, well it was served soft and squishy to the touch hot on the outside yet cool on the inside and once cut it bled like a live animal ! I then asked this steak to be cooked a bit more , medium rare as requested and the kitchen maybe insulated by my request takes 30+ minutes to bring my steak back out fully overcooked and beyond well done . After the abomination of a steak is returned to me my group is ready to go so needless to to say I left this joke of a steak sitting in the plate they served it on and ready for the trash where it belongs. In all honesty I’ve had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse. Maybe next time cook the steaks as requested.

For a chain restaurant we were very surprised at the great service and good food. Steaks cooked perfectly!

The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is great and the service is top notch. If you're in town looking for a great steak this is the place.

Took my date out here for my wedding anniversary. Expensive but worth it. Food was super delicious and the event was very special. I had the dry aged ribeye which was divine. Staff was very nice. Totally recommend.

Service was very slow and we had to ask multiple times for things. My filet was overcooked and the crème brûlée was not cooked at all! (they did comp it). Overall was not satisfied with the experience for price and standards you would expect for a restaurant on this caliber. Will most likely not return

Every visit here gets better and better. I enjoyed my steak and service. A staff member took a picture of my family for valentines, printed, and gave it to us. That was very nice. The manager came to our table to ask about about our experience. I appreciate the staff making us feel so welcome.

Our entire experience at Mortons was a HOT MESS. We had a reservation but were not allowed to sit in the dining room due to a dress code that is not adequately explained on the reservation or booking. The best part was when we leave, the valet attendant is nowhere to be found. They left with our keys, and nobody present had access or was able to get a hold of the valet attendant. It took them 45 minutes to get our keys to us.The food was good but it was not worth the trouble.

First visit. This was a mixed bag indeed. Went on a Saturday night. Party of 3, with a 6 o'clock. Be aware that they do not validate for parking at the garage next door. You pay to park or pay $14 for valet. We arrived at 545. We got to the maitre d, and she promptly told us we had to wait, because there were 2 reservations in front of us. There is no place to sit, other than tall chairs in the bar area. My wife uses a walker, so she can't get into the tall chair. She told us, with a bad attitude, there's a table at the back of the bar. It was taken. So my wife sat on her walker while my daughter and I stood for 10 minutes. In that time, no one else entered the restaurant. A poor start. When we were taken to our table, there were several tables open. Our server was very good. She got to the table promptly, and took our drink orders. My old fashioned, while good, seemed to have a high syrup to bourbon ratio. Too sweet for me. The appetizers were mixed. The French Onion soup was generic, with a white bread appearance, a distinct lack of cheese, thin broth and not properly baked. The lobster bisque was excellent. One of the best I've tasted. The wedge salad wasn't worthy of the steakhouse. It was a slice of the iceberg, with a thin dressing which lacked enough blue cheese. The main course was excellent as expected. The filets were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and very tasty. We split a couple of desserts. The key lime pie was true to the original. Excellent. The chocolate lava cake was disappointing. I've had as good at chain restaurants. The wine list is extensive, with many available by the glass. Mine was fresh, and a good pour. So, it seemed a mixed bag, but the most important part, the meal itself was excellent.

First time here and I was very impressed. We started with cocktails, my wife ordering their Margarita and I with their Mojito. We both ordered the House Chopped Salad (Note: You get a good size salad so you probably won't need a veggie with your dinner). My wife order the Lamb Chops which she very much enjoyed, and I had the Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail, very delicious. For sides we had the Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes which I highly recommend, and their Brussel Sprouts which were good but not good enough to take home the leftovers. By the time we were done we had no room for dessert. Our server was great and the ambiance was excellent for a Date Night.

For this price point, we were overall unimpressed but want to give credit where credit is due so we give this location 4 stars. We nearly left before being seated based on the rude, aloof hostess staff at front of house. We arrived for our 5pm reservation at 4.56pm and were told to wait in the bar for 4 minutes until the time of our seating (are you kidding me?!). It wasn't just us, the 2 other couples who came in behind us were told the same thing. We were all pointed to the bar and stood awkwardly because all of the seating was marked reserved. 4 minutes later my name was called rather loudly with no discretion and ordered to follow the hostess to our table. The restaurant was practically empty so we were baffled as to why we had to wait the 4 minutes until our reservation time. This was never addressed or explained. My husband mentioned that we were there for restaurant week and would like to view the menu and was sharply told that the server would supply that to us. Apparently she changed her mind because she came back with them. I was ignored the entire time as she made a point of saying sir throughout the entire seating process. We had a different experience with the rest of the staff thankfully. Our server was polite and friendly, as were the 2 different floor managers who came by to check on us. We both ordered from the restaurant week menu. I had the French onion soup to start and my husband had the lettuce wedge. No complaints as both dishes were tasty. We both ordered the filet mignon and fries (the restaurant week sides were limited). I ordered medium rare, and my husband ordered medium and both were perfectly cooked - well done there!! I ordered the cognac sauce for the steak and it was lovely. For dessert I had the soufflé and my husband had the Key Lime pie. He said that the pie was okay, my soufflé was slightly undercooked and the server struggled to make a hole to pour the creme. Mortons will not be our first choice for a good meal unfortunately.

First time to Morton's was 1987. First time here in San Antonio. Everything as wonderful as I remember it being but received wonderful, personalized service from everyone. Food was delicious. Can't wait to come on back!

First time at Morton's, and it was absolutely amazing! From the service to the food to the ambiance, I will definitely go back. It was my husband's birthday and Danielle was just amazing, everyone was. Thank you for a great experience! My filet mignon was perfect, my father n law ordered the 16oz ribeye steak and he devoured it. My mother n law loved the lobster ravioli. The food was amazing!
