These people are not honest and do not have the correct skills that they share on the internet, ive been back three time to discuss my damage on my truck that was caused from them and they have told me over and over they dont have a full mechanic at the time that is able to fix the work. In the meantime, I’m supposed to drive around with a vehicle that was not lined up correct and damaged from them. The last time i Spoke with the owner about the work that was done all he could say is he would call me back next week. And thats been over 6 weeks ago. Since then I've had to contact my lawyer so i can start a lawsuit on them. When you tell these people about there bad work they turn everything around and make it your fault. Read all the bad reviews and it explains it very well. Dont take your auto to a insurance company trying to do 4x4 stuff. They will lie straight to your face. Not very honest people. Cause if they were, they would have called me already to resolve my issues.Believe me I’ve gone back over all of the recorded messages and they can’t keep a straight honest conversation for nothing. Watch and learn how they respond to this with review if they were honest people, this review will state bring your vehicle, and we will be glad to fix it, but watch they will make up an excuse and say otherwise. Happy of road

These guys are great! I went to ask for their expert opinion on a lift kit for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL. They offered great advice and several possible solutions for my current set up. Everything from a simple low cost solution all the way to a high end solution. They explained everything in detail and allowed me to make the decision on which option to go with. very glad I decided to go with this business for my Jeep and will no doubt bring more of my vehicles to them.Service: Tires

That’s odd to not have a record of our visit. I have receipts for our visit if you need to further discuss the poor customer service. You might remember we have the 4Runner you recently duplicated with a similar build after admiring ours ?Services: General repairs & maintenance

Did NOT have a great exp with this mom and pop 4x4 shop and really can't recommend if you are a DIY mechanic like myself. Called and scheduled a suspension check (since I don't know what I am doing really) and an alignment after installing my own 2.5in suspension lift on my 2007 Toyota Sequoia. They were able to squeeze me in on a Sat which worked great for me and my fam. After the alignment was done the SUV didn't track well at highway speeds and had significant bump jump when hitting potholes. Scheduled/took it back the following week and again requested they look at my install job to make sure everything was correct and that my alignment needed an adjustment. Was there for 7.5 hrs with little updates......after which the owner and his wife came out and stated they couldn't get it aligned and it pulled to the left now (didn't before at all). Was told to drive it over the weekend to let it settle and to call back on Monday if it didn't. It pulled so hard to the left I didn't feel safe with my fam riding in it. Had to call the owner several times to get him on the phone because he wouldn't call me back. Took it back a 3rd time (dropping it off this time) again asking them to fix the issue and to CHECK MY INSTALL WORK. After several hours I was told to come in, it was driving straight, and the mechanic would go over it with me. Not the case as the mechanic gave me an estimate for $900 to replace inner and outer tie rods, another alignment, and that the SUV STILL pulled left. When walking me out to my vehicle to give me my keys the mechanic told me my rear tire on the passenger side was sticking out more than normal and asked if I had forgotten to put a wheel spacer on that wheel (wow)........30min of research when I got home indicated I needed an adjustable (longer) panhard bar to re-align my rear axle and this was very typical when raising SUVs/Jeeps/Coils Spring Trucks. I ordered and installed the part myself and got my vehicle correctly aligned at 4WheelParts who was also able to talk to me about panhard bars/axle alignment in great detail. Now truck rides amazing/new but I am out the $400 I paid this shop. Wanted to like this small off road mom and pop shop and you MIGHT be able to use them for simple block/spacer lifts on a truck but they do not seem knowledgeable enough for more detailed/higher end off road suspension work.Service: Steering & suspension repair

STAY AWAY ! These guys have no business do any modifications. They messed up two of my trucks. The bolt literally came off and my shock fell off and they had to weld a new bracket.. fast forward my suspension squeaks and they want me to pay for them to inspect it . Way to stand behind your company! On my other truck they tried to lower it , but they ended up asking me to buy new rims so they could fit the lower kit they ordered... I had bail out of the lowering mod . Losers!Sorry Guys! It's been one year and one day ! So I guess they only guarantee there bolts to stay on for one year.

Overall great work and customer service done by the team at Off the Grid on my 21 Bronco with a shout out to Kris. They were able to identify problems with an unsafe lift that was originally done by another shop and completely replace it for me as well as a great deal on 4 new tires. Affordably priced for quality work and were able to answer all of my questions along the way. They got the job done in a timely manner, took care of it as if it were their own vehicle, and kept me in the loop the whole time. Would definitely recommend these guys!

Great service. I came in for a quick state inspection while I worked out next door. The gentlemen pointed out that my battery tray had come a little loose and was now rubbing against an AC line. They took the few extra minutes to straighten it out and bolt it tight. Great attention to detail and they were glad to sort it out for me at no charge. Hard to find places like these nowadays.

Will never be returning to this place, way overpriced and they don't know what they are doing. Took my truck in for an alignment and for the life of them could not get it aligned correctly for $250. Was also told that my tie rod ins and outs needed to be replaced and they installed cheap O'Reilly's parts for double the price. About $700 later and my truck drove 20x worse then when I gave it to them. Was told that it was good to go multiple times only to find out it still doesn't drive straight, asked for the alignment sheets multiple times and still did not get one. I was also told that it doesn't drive straight due to the lower ball joints and went to get a second opinion and was told that they are fine and will not cause any steering issues. Ended up going to brake check and for $69 my truck is dialed in and had nothing to do with the ball joints, save your money and go somewhere else.EDIT: just wanted to add since you replied, the owner of this shop blew up my phone within the hour of me posting this review to call me a little b****, which is hilarious. These upper control arms are made to push the caster forward while also having very little camber which I explained to the your techs. I gave brake check the spc diagram and they figured it out within 2 days. All I asked from you guys was to align it good enough to not yank me off the road when I let go of the steering wheel and couldn't. Why would I replace ball joints (that are built into the lower control arm) for $1300 when its not even causing it to pull? Also I was never offered Toyota parts I was just told they could gets parts today and to just go ahead and do it, otherwise I would have taken it to my trustworthy mechanic to use Toyota parts and not get gouged. Your own techs talked trash about you the first day I was there and I should have listened lol. Anyways I'm done wasting my time here, best of luck.

After purchasing my dream off road vehicle (4x4RNR), I needed a place to help me maintain this new “baby” of mine. Luckily my husband found OTG 4x4. We set up an appointment for an oil change but had a ton of questions regarding maintenance and upgrades. Justin was amazing! He answered all our questions and more. He truly went above and beyond in assisting us not only with questions regarding maintenance but all the nice upgrades and additions. We even had a nice meet and great with the owner and son. The entire team was amazing! We truly felt we had found a place that has the same goals we do and is ready to help us reach those goals. Outstanding customer service! If I could give more stars I would!! Better yet - infinity stars for those infinity lights that are currently on my wishlist❤️
