I always go to Office Depot to get my prints printed but if it's gonna be a smooth process depends on who is working that day. If you're lucky you get someone who knows how to do their job but more often then not that isn't the case

Today November 16,2024 around 2pm. I enter the OfficeMax off 1604 San Antonio tx. I went in to buy a small file cabinet. The front desk cashier called for help for me but that person was “in the bathroom” so he kindly looked up the item and there was one in the box. I asked him if I could have the floor model and he got on his headphone asked someone and got a “yes” so we rolled it to the front and I paid for it. He said I could bring my car around and he would load it. By the time I got my car to the front another angry white man told me I couldn’t have the floor model and had to take the box. I asked why if someone already said I could? He was just angry and rude and said “Do you want it or not?!”
I’m sure it made his day to put this woman in her place making sure I knew he was in charge. I thanked him for his kindness and left in tears. I have no hope of ever hearing anything about this event from anyone in the company. An opportunity for a kindness to an older adult was horribly botched and OfficeMax lost a customer. Now I have to find someone who will put it together for me

I would like to give a huge thank you to Rick and Isaac at the Print Department for fixing an error I made on a banner. They were so nice to reprint for my Graduating Senior which the quality of the banner looks amazing. You guys saved me and very appreciated ??

I stopped in to pick up some toner cartridges for my laser printer, and some paper I usually buy a specific type of paper, which is 500 sheets, 20 lbs 96 bright, 8x11.5 size, and 99.9 percent no jam. It is normally the Office Depot brand.Luckily, they had the three (3) toner cartridges in stock that I needed; yellow, cyan, and blue. On the paper, they were low in stock, and I needed to get some help to see if there was any more in the store. Unfortunately, there was not. I was able to leave with 2 stacks.The people in this store were very helpful, courteous, professional, and customer service-oriented.I also return some toner cartridges, which they gladly accepted and will recycle.I do want you to know that I've been doing business with Office Depot for more than 15 years. I've always had success with their products, and while their employees change store to store, and so do the items in stock. On average, they do pretty well. Additionally, like every retail store, you need to watch the prices, compare them, and look for sales.I hope your experiences at these stores are as good as mine.

Customer service at the print counter was beyond horrible. Naythan didn’t even greet me. I awkwardly stood there for about five minutes while he pulled up my email that I had sent while waiting for him to finish with the customer ahead of me and asked if that was the email. With no greeting, no communication that he was looking up my email. I was confused as to whether he was working on something for somebody else or what was going on. He was indeed pulling up the email that I had sent, which I only realized after he turned the screen around and asked if this was the one. Again, after just standing there awkwardly with zero communication on his part once I was next in line. His tone was rude and all-around, very unprofessional to say the least. He definitely didn’t mind conveying that he wanted to be anywhere else but there and helping me. He then said the service that I wanted was not offered by the company. I had to pull the service up online to show him once I showed him his response was no response. He just turned back to his computer and started looking things up… I guess. I didn’t know that’s what he was doing until I stood there for another awkward few minutes. Wondering what was going on. He then confirmed that they don’t offer that here. So I went to the website in front of him and ordered it and with delivered to that location. Im not sure why he said they don’t offer that service or in the least direct me to that service being offered as an order online only order. I’m not sure why he couldn’t communicate that It was some thing that needed to be online or exclusively online, and why he led me to believe they don’t do that service at all. After I began processing it online, he just walked away and ignored me. I asked if I could order and purchase it in store and he just ignored me.

If you go to the printing services, ask for Isaac. He went above and beyond today helping me with my graduation cap project. He spent over an hour helping me figure out the correct size and paper, the placement of the design, rearranging the measurements, and finally laminating and cutting the project to my very picky liking. He did all of it with a smile and a very patient demeanor. He has great customer skills and a lot of experience in the dept.I am a very happy customer!
