Not horribly polite. The young girl at the photo/fedex ship site was extremely rude.

Just got back from the Office Depot Office Max on Bandera Road (near 1604) in San Antonio, TX.
I found the items I was looking for, but the Customer Service was terrible.
When I was ready to check out, I stood in front of the register for several minutes before a young lady finally came up. She didn't even acknowledge that I was standing there waiting and started doing something else right in front of me. My first impression was not good, as I think she was prejudiced against People of Color.
Eventually she did call another associate to help me check out with my purchases. She NEVER even acknowledged me until I called her out on her behavior by saying "I thank you for your acknowledgement", at which time she said she was sorry.
I agreed with her and said yes she was sorry, and left it at that.
It will be a long, long time before I ever visit this store again.

I recently visited this OfficeMax to inquire about printing business cards, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The employee at the printing center (ANGIELINA-print associate) was extremely unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. I asked several questions about the printing process, but she never made an effort to acknowledge me—she didn’t look up even once while I was speaking. When I politely asked if she could please make eye contact, she became visibly upset and stated she was "really busy editing" and turned her computer for me to see all her work.
I was disappointed by her response and the lack of attention I received. It's clear that customer service is not a priority for her, and this made me feel completely ignored, as though my business didn’t matter. I don't believe someone with such a poor attitude and lack of engagement should be in a role where they interact with customers.
I almost took my business somewhere else, but thanks to Hannah, who was so pleasant while answering my questions. She was so helpful and assisted me in ordering ny business cards .
0 stars for Angielina
5 Stars for Hannah

Unbelievable how slow they can be in the copy & print area. Typically there is one or 2 employees back there trying their best, however there is always a long line or wait for minimal service. While standing in line you can see one or two employees just hanging out and chatting it up. The lack of attention to guest is sad. I only decided to write this after a dozen or more experiences.
Just got to the counter and the young lady is vaping while helping me. Lol

I had a bad experience here back to back with customer service. Amanda was very rude with me the first day when I was trying to get something printed. The following day when I went to pick up my print I stood around waiting to be helped. I was helped by Cruz who also had attitude when I told him what I needed. I don’t appreciate or recommend going to this location .

This was honestly a terrible experience. We came in for shred services. A month to 2 months ago my dad came in for the shred services where we drop everything off and they shred it for us, and the gentleman told us all the bins were full so we couldn't drop it off. Today, the young lady behind the counter said we had to do it ourselves bc they got rid of that service "a long time ago." I'm a former manager, so I asked other managers and they did let me know that service was removed in recent months. My issue is that we're still being charged the same price as we were when it was a full-service drop-off. Not a store specific issue, but a company issue.
My issue with the store was in the print dept and the store's lack of support for it and its lacking standards. When we were there, there was gentleman the young lady behind the counter was helping. I'll admit he did have a lot of pictures to print, but a number of pictures were very clearly copyrighted and shouldn't have been printed. He should've been referred to self-serve. Maybe y'all's location doesn't have self-serve anymore???
While she was helping him, a lady had been standing there for awhile (we weren't waiting long, but her husband told us she'd been waiting awhile) and she was just doing a pickup. It wasn't until 15+ mins later that someone came by to give her her pickup.
And honestly I could give all that a rest, I worked in print for 5 years and I know sometimes it's hard to get to everyone when you may have a needy guest at the counter, but it was 3:30-4PM when we were there and no one had relieved her for her break, and that's terrible. The LOD didn't have much experience in print (from the looks of it) to cover the section for, and that's not the best situation. But again I get it, maybe ops is scheduled on Sunday, she should've at least been allowed to close the section with manager back-up to let guests know she needed to close.
And the last thing that happened that made me never go to this location ever is a customer service issue. A guest was at the counter to pickup a stamp. Apparently the store didn't have her stamp size. Valid, fine. I get it. But no one called her to let her know? And multiple knew about this issue. Someone from another section, I believe the LOD, came over and also told her the stamp wasn't available. Why wouldn't you call as soon as the order came in and let her know they can transfer the order to another store, back to RPC, or just let her know they need to cancel it? I didn't hear anyone say that they called her.
Maybe we're here on an off-day. But yea, even as a VIP and former employee, I can't say I'd ever come back to this location.

I went in to ship some items. The clerk told me to get a USPS box, which I did. I packed my stuff and paid. Two days later USPS sent the box to my house and said it was insufficient postage. Now my stuff is delayed and I'm out the money I paid for postage. I tried to call the store today but their number isn't working. Update: I went by after work and the manager made things right.

One time it was DEAD empty in there and I wait like 10 whole freakin' minutes until some dude finally stopped talking to his coworker after I start clicking a pen annoyingly to get their attention. Wake up man, I just wanna buy some paper and get outta there..

Walked in at 6:15pm and asked to have 2 pages laminated. When the clerk finally looked up from her phone, she said the machine was already turned off bc they closed in less than an hour. I could leave my handouts and they would do it tomorrow. Why turn off the machines within an hour till closing? BTW, they close at 7pm.
