“This place was so cool! They had baby ducks and chickens and everything you might need for so many types of pets! I went in looking for rat poison but had to jump on a client call and didn’t get to go back and buy anything. But when I need something for a pet, I will definitely keep this place in mind. People were friendly and the place was really cool!”

“Very long but super fast line to pick up flea/tick pill for my dog. Very friendly, customer based, intelligent people who work here. This feed store has been visited by generations of my family-I continue to visit as this establishment is trustworthy. Very wide range of different things/foods/meds for your pets.”

“I can’t say enough about my sweet Kobe‘s groomer Lauren. He has never had a very good time with bathtime or grooming, but in the year or so that he’s been with Lauren, he has become much easier to groom at home in between appointments. When he first went to Lauren, she was informative and let us know that she will try her best to work with him and his comfort ability to make the grooming process tolerable and she absolutely did! we stayed consistent with her and within a few appointments, He began to let her bathe him and trim his nails with an assistant and now we’re at the point where she no longer needs someone to assist her! He has come so far and I know it is from the patience of his amazing groomer. We have also been trying to make the experience better for him to where he knows every grooming session he gets to choose a toy of his choosing and at his last appointment Miss Lauren, so graciously paid for his toy, which he was so excited to have and still plays with! Thank you Lauren for being so kind and patient and making my Kobe such a happy and handsome boy!”

“I am from out of town and visited this store. The idea was to find some Southwestern clothes for my pup. Two really good choices were at Mike's: a poncho or a baja hoodie. The picture tells which one I chose: poncho. It's a good quality and I think it will look smashing on my puppy.”

“Love! Love! Love this store and the knowledge of their team! We had a VERY picky Bernese Mountain Dog eater and now he waits eagerly for his food and levels his bowl. They have tons of clean quality brands and are honest about value versus quality. Go here! It’s so fun just to roam and people even take their fur babies. Love Paw Basics!!”

“Amazing service from a truly kind, locally owned pet store. We came in right after adopting our rescue pup, Lotte and the staff went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome. “I have been using Wolf Gang for over two years. Her previous groomer left, due to issues with the owner. I am so pleased that Wolf Gang has new owners. The staff is happier; a happy staff provides excellent service, as Nicole did today. Nicole pays attention to detail. She is careful with my dog Terrie due to trauma she prior to my adopting her. Thank you.”

“Very convenient to my house, the store is well stocked (for my deer feed needs) and the guys were super friendly and loaded my (4) 50lb sacks for me. There’s also an awesome older gentleman outside that they let sell his backyard eggs for pretty good prices. I think this is so cool of them - I will be definitely buying my feed here for now on.”

18010 Bulverde Road Suite 104, San Antonio TX 78259
“We visited this store for the first time today and it was a wonderful experience. We had our year old pug mix with us and they were so nice to him. They offered him treats and helped us clean up when he had a couple of accidents. They also gave us a bunch of samples for him, our 15 year old shitzu and cats. They have a small but varied inventory and carry a variety of food and great options. It is heavily focused on dogs, as these specialty stores seem to do, but they did have a little bit for the cats.”

“I think it's cool that they have dog treats that look like human treats. They have crickets, which my son needs for his pet lizard. I enjoy being able to bring my pet to the store and it's nice to meet other people's pets when we go. I also like that their discount program is tied to a phone number. Makes the experience convenient and quick. Everytime I go in the staff is friendly.”

“There are lots of interesting things to see here besides all of the animal feed. We bought 50 lbs of deer corn for $8 and change plus doggie treats. There are lawn decorations, animal and bird statues, and rhinestone studded flip flops. They also have leather handbags. We could have spent more time looking!”

“Penny is amazing and genuinely cares for dogs. I took my Shih Tzu Gigi today and she loved her. Usually when I go take Gigi somewhere to get groomed and it’s time for pick up she’s shaking and scared. This time she was totally calm and no shaking. Super happy with results, couldn’t be more grateful Gigi and I came here. New go to spot.”

“After a two year hiatus from having a dog with hair, I birthed another yorkie. A few weeks postpartum I was hit with the reminder that I would need to find a new groomer. I have had so many bad experiences. Not only was a looking for someone who could do a nice cut, but I also needed someone who could accommodate both my babies' special needs. Burt is a huge wimp. We are working on it, but in the meantime, I needed a groomer with was able to withhold from shaming his mostly irrational fears. And then there's Jennifer Aniston. She's got baggage. We adopted her 2 years ago from Charming Pet Rescue (huge fan!) after they had saved her from, as I understand it, an absolute nightmare. She has come along way. She is slowly regaining faith in humanity. She is even starting to lean towards #notallmen, which I find to be a slippery slope, but I don't have it in me to burst that bubble for her yet. She needed a groomer who could hold space for a girl who has been hurt before and we are finally at a place where we feel confy leaving our daughter with a stranger for a bath. Its time. When I arrived with Burt, they spent time getting to know us and they recommended an incredible service that the offer specifically for acclimating puppies to the grooming process. They suggested doing a few of those appointments first, before jumping into a full groom. When I returned to swap dogs, not only did Burt look precious, but he also was not giving Dear God Save Me eyes. They said he handled it pretty okay, and to my utter shock, they said they'd be comfy with doing a full groom on his next visit. GO Kylie GO! You're doing amazing, sweetie! Next up, Jennifer. Upon immediate entry, she was so relaxed. Not her norm, she lacks chill. She completely shocked me by making eye contact with the groomer, something she typically avoids at all costs. They spent a few minutes on ground getting to know each other before she went back. When I returned for my child, she was not even that excited to see me. She had been having a great time hanging out with the owners beautiful pomeranian, Brandon. She seemed light and at no point did she bolt for the door. I can't tell you how big this is for her. The folks at the Waggery showed us so much patience and grace. Booking was super easy. They had good availability. Their pricing is so fair. The relief I felt leaving their *very cute* shop was immense and we are so looking forward to our next appointment. Good vibes all around.”

“It's nice what they do. But there's still a sad feeling knowing that these animals are there to enjoy only a short last part of their lives then to die. Offering them this comfort is a great opportunity indeed. You cannot visit as far as I know.”
