This place is special to my family because we don't always have a lot of money. And when my kids wanted to get out and do something or had a bad day I would take them here. The reason why is they have cubicles where you can go and visit and play with the puppies. And it's free. It would make them and the pups happy

I went in to spend some time looking at pets because I love animals. Saw this dog of a mixed breed so sad and he needs a loving home. I could tell he could of been recently separated from a home. I hope he was adopted or if not I hope this review reaches someone and can see if they would love to give him a permanent home. Black haired dog. Very loving too!

We inquired about a dog there was quoted a price via the website when we get there they increase the price by $5000. When questioned and showed proof of their response all they could say is I’m sorry. Do not trust this company. They have cute dogs, but will change the rates to make it convenient for them and blame it on their website .

The puppies were visibly sick, lethargic, and staff was unwilling to do anything and kept handing them to the interested customers inquiring about them. It was very sad to see this. Unscrupulous as well because the customers were clueless about the condition of there well being. Do NOT BUY from Petland. Cruelty galore!!!

If I could give this place no stars I would. Please do not buy from this establishment they need to go out of business. They should not be operating at all and it’s a wonder they’re still able to be in business. Just bought a puppy from them that is deathly ill. He had kennel cough that escalated to pneumonia because they left him untreated and neglected him. His sister also is extremely ill and neglected so this is not an isolated incident. On top of the pneumonia he also has an eye infection. I didn’t know this before we went to this store but they buy from puppy mills that neglect and mistreat their puppies! We payed almost 4 grand for this dog and this establishment is saying that if he dies then we don’t get our money back or a partial refund. So be warned that if you buy from this establishment the puppies are EXTREMELY pricey and sick. The store attendants also know nothing about puppies and are not qualified to be selling or treating them. DO NOT GO HERE.

Store Atmosphere: The store reminded me of every other pet store (i.e. petsmart, petco). Not filthy, not spotless, but all to be expected. Maybe if they brighten the store its better lighting or higher ceilings, consumers will not comment so much on the yuck feeling. I wasn't looking to move in the place, so it was to reasonable standard for me...and I am a couple steps from a germaphobe. (Manage your expectations)Staff: Day one, the employee unlocked the door (I was there before open, waiting, bc I knew what I wanted), and waved me in...didn't open the door, just waved me in...not the best customer service but not going to allow that to stop me. I let her know what I was there for, and she politely told me she would be over shortly to help. From there, I had great customer service from every employee I encountered. They aren't super knowledgeable, but they sell it well enough. Never purchase a pup without doing your own homework. They are in sales...Pup: My pup arrived 1 day prior to me going in and putting a deposit on him. He came home about 5 days in total, from being at the store. He is happy, healthy, and soo sweet. The purchase/aftercare: When you spend the amount of money that we did, you never want to feel like you are being taken advantage of, which we did not get that vibe...however the forms you sign make you feel as if the store is preparing for the worse to happen and trying to legally cover their behinds. (Again...out pup is happy and healthy...I just wanted to communicate how the buying process can make consumers feel)I did find the breeder, who is AKC registered, so that brought comfort. We identified a vet that he went to the day after we purchased him, and they confirmed his health, which was a second layer of comfort. I did not like the vet that Petland referred us to...the doc was knowledgeable, but the place was gross. We transitioned our pup to a higher quality for almost immediately, and wasted the remaining of what we purchased at the time we got our pup. Lessons Learned: - Buy your dog's needs from Amazon. - Ask what they are feeding the dog before so you can get it cheaper elsewhere (just get the kibble, the vet told us that mixing the dry/wet/fresh food together is too much. That's what the store was doing)- I think we got a good pup bc they were not in the facility long, reduced exposure to illness (kennel cough)Will I buy another from Petland...yes & no. Yes, bc the experience was good. No, because it was too expensive. Go directly to the AKC website and drill down to their sales pages. The cost of shipping or picking up a pup will still be less than purchasing from the store.

Visited the store on 9.6.23 with my husband with intent to purchase a puppy and new fish for our kids. We were in the store for a total of 10 minutes. We walked past at least 6 employees and no one greeted us nor asked if we needed any help. Puppies were not labeled with any type of information (breed, d.o.b, gender,etc.). There's no fish, except Betas. Will not return nor do I recommend.

We got a precious, healthy Cavalier King Charles from here. The service was excellent, the place was clean and well-organized. The puppy is healthy and just about perfect!!! I highly recommend this business.

Bought a beautiful parakeet (budgie) from this location. Come to find out it has genetic cataracts..didn’t find out until a month later. Avoid purchasing birds, even all animals from stores like these. Breeders are much better. Lesson learned.

Didn't care too much for this place for Herp needs. It was filled with over priced puppies that were clearly vying for the chance to be a fleeting whim pet. The store was crowded with young disinterested staff that weren't very knowledgeable and could only tell me that "I think there's some stuff in one of the isles just go look for it" and "wow I didn't even know we had stuff like that." If you would like to be surrounded with customers who aren't mindful of their children and staff that do not take their job serious then do yourself a favor and go here to search out your own pet supplies.
