I've known this location to be there since the 90's, I went there a few weeks ago and ordered some food, I didn't notice in the past but on this occasion there were 2 women running the kitchen, 1 of the women was cleaning dirty pans and the area where the put the hot food for display the other women was cooking my order, the women who was cooking my order was using no gloves or not taking any precautions to protect my food, she put the lettuce, tomatoes on my food with bare hands, then she also touched my French fries with her bare hand, I think the health department needs to check this place out and instruct the owner to train their employees how to handle food, I doubt any of the employees handling food have a valid food c handlers permit, I've been in the convenience store business in the past and I know how easy it is for owners to get food handler and food managers certificates, I mean anyone can sit with you on a laptop and take the test for you, the department of health and human services and or the city needs to make this process more fraud proof and implement a more verifiable way to issue these certificates, I recall when I took my food managers certification class everyone in the class passed even the people who couldn't read or barely speak English, as long as the fee for the class was paid you passed, they practically toom each other's tests and were pretty much given the answers by the instructors, they need to get strict on this kind of certification it can be a life threatening problem by food borne illnesses.
