Moving halfway across the country this was a cheaper and easier option. Very flexible and easy to coordinate with your timeline. It's on you to secure the load. So, make sure to use some ratchet straps to ensure the contents don't shift. I used 2 16ft pods and nothing was broken or scratched.

Delivery driver ran over and destroyed my chain link fence, they failed to pick up my pod to move it and twice sent a pickup driver to the wrong place to get the pod after I had to empty it and move everything myself. Oh, also because they destroyed my fence my dog got hit by a car. So I will never use pods again their service was literally horrible

If you are military - go with any other company who might give a damn about your items. We used PODs bc of the new PCS system. Big mistake. First they don’t vet their “partners” since hire a helper was a joke and a half. Then we get our POD and our things are damaged. Like we had a gash in our washing machine and dining table among other broken items. And we packed with shipping blankets and packing material/bubble wrap. We’ve moved a few too many times and know how to pack. So for there to be damage means they had to be knocking our stuff around excessively.There should have been no damage. We made a claim with their 3rd party and it was denied bc there was no damage to the PODs…well no duh it’s a huge steel container. But they didn’t treat it with a care in the world. So now we have over $3k of damage. Also, the reps are jerks - asking why we waited 3 days to make a claim - because we had a newborn and was unpacking. Save the headacheNever again. And I’ll be sure to warn the 1,200 other military families moving next summer and anyone else I meet. But as long as they get their money right?

Loved the ability to store stuff while staging my house for sale and that I could then just finish loading it up and have it delivered to my new place. However, the rep mislead me about the capacity of the unit. I told them the size of my house and described what I was moving; they told me the 16 ft. would be perfect. I had a three-bedroom house with a basement; that unit is sized for a two bedroom apartment. I had to give or throw away so much stuff, cram both our vehicles, and will still barely got everything here. When the POD arrived it was beat to hell, boxes smashed and ripped open, furniture scratched and broken. Given, we did pack it ourselves, but we did not expect the violent shaking or whatever went on to cause the damage. I would not use them again.

We used PODS storage for our household items and furniture for 12 months while we were between houses. It was very easy to navigate the website and schedule drop off and pick up if the pod, we were able to have it as long as we needed for packing and unpacking, all of our items were in the same condition as when we packed them. Every person we interacted with from the company was very kind and professional. We loved using this service and would recommend it to anyone moving or needing to store things for a while.

6/24/2023 on the phone 2 ½ HOURS with Stephanie. We had 2 PODS originating from Georgia to Texas last year ($7,367) delivered after storing for 12 months at $419 per month ($5,028). We are ready to have our items delivered. Stephanie failed to advised of 6/25/2023 $341 fuel and transport fee. ONLY told us it would be $149 per container to deliver (TOTAL $298). We woke up SURPRISED at 5am 6/25 with notifications of attempted credit card charges $1,126, $775, $477, $341 and $298!!Ulysses 6/25/2023, he tried really hard to assist, provided a little info but not accurate $198.44, $142.96, $149, $149. Since the billing department is closed on Sunday, he said we would get a callback Monday (of course this didn’t happen)TOTAL= $639.44Dennis 6/27/2023 NO HELPLindsey 6/27/2023 NO HELP, NEVER called me as requested only emails which were copy/pastes of her previous emails. I decided to forward her ALL 34 email PODS randomly sent even in the middle of the night regarding invoice, balances and declined card notifications because I blocked them from attempting anymore charges after the 6 incorrect attempts. Over the next 2 days 13 more emails (forwarded those to her as well) 47 emails in 4 days!!Rick 6/29/20/23, at first seemed a bit annoyed that I was calling, shared quite a bit of insight with the process by explaining the location of our PODS was in the Austin region and had to be transferred to San Antonio region and this meant new charges and pro-rated rental fees for new location even though the PODS would not be there more than 2 days!! So, we paid $477.93 on the phone with him, for PODS 42 miles to the next city, this did not include the $341 fuel and transportation cost or the $298 final delivery fee to our home!!Jasmine 7/5/2023 in billing informed me that our container delivery had been cancelled due to $344.41 payment not being made because I requested a correct invoice and after the 6 times of being billed and attempted to be charged incorrectly PODS finally decided once the invoice was correct to not auto take the payment and instead cancelled our 7/10 delivery!!Ness 7/5/2023 paid $341 and given a NEW delivery date of 7/12/2023Delivery Day 7/12/2023, We had 2 PODS (16ft & 8ft) first driver came with 8ft we have a 2-car garage and driveway but property is on a corner lot with a stop sign. Driver wanted to block the street or ruin the lawn, absolutely not! Plus, not compliant with HOA, asked when would the 16ft be delivered that way we could hurry and empty the first POD and they could pick it up since it would empty. Driver was not confident it would be removed. HE was the same driver and he did pick up the empty when delivering the full! OVERALL, a NIGHTMARE!! Take notes, be specific with quotes, billing and payment expectations because we received inconsistent and inaccurate information throughout the process.The funny part is, PODS had the nerve to ask for a survey and review!! REALLY?? Ha-Ha-Ha LOL

If you have another way of storing your items, save yourself the hassle and do not move with PODS. Currently in the middle of a move now and we're a week behind because of bad communication on their end. We've asked for a manager to give us a call back on two separate occasions and nothing. You also have to wait on hold for 30 minutes (at any time or the day) to get a hold of anyone in customer service. So if you have an issue - it won't be settled that day and they'll push back your delivery/pick-up date. Worst experience with a move.

Really happy with pods. I did a local move and they made it so much easier. Their website is simple to use, and allows you to adjust the order on the fly. The system they use to deliver and drop off the pod is great. It sets it down exactly where you need it, and allows for easy access.For drop off and pick up, it was as simple as going online and setting the dates. The driver contacted me in advance, and the job was done in less than 10 minutes. If I wanted to access my pod while in storage, the option was right there online.

I had the most hardest and difficult time with their billing department charging my credit card multiple times to the point where it went over my credit limit. Additionally, due to the lack of competence in their billing department, they canceled one my payment just to turn around and tell me that I didn't pay when I initially paid on the phone with a customer representative. PODS need more competent people working in their billing dept.

The fact that Pods will not tell you an ETA for your delivery until after 6pm is crazy to me. I still have not gotten my ETA for delivery and it is 8pm. How am I supposed to manage my move when I have no idea when my stuff will be at the house. We need to have people at the house to help us move in, yet we can not without help.

I used PODS for a move across the country. After getting several quotes and considering different options, PODS offered more value for the cost. The process was clear from the beginning and PODS definitely met my expectations. Drivers were super friendly, as were the phone reps. My items arrived in perfect condition and there were no surprise fees or delays. I would definitely recommend and would certainly use them again!

We used a POD to move to another state. Packing, pickup and delivery were very easy and we could do everything on our own schedule. We followed the packing guidelines and everything arrived in good condition. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great Service & Price. Had a few issues along the way, but they were fixed pretty quickly after talking to customer support. Driver delivering the pod was really friendly and i had a good experience with them.
