The Radius Center is a versatile venue in Southtown San Antonio known for both immersive theatrical performances and a distinctive restaurant, Pharm Table. The space hosts live operettas and plays described as immersive, interactive, and up-close, with a cast that is friendly and interacts with the audience. The modern art deco space features sculptures and creates an intimate experience. Pharm Table, located within, offers a holistic dining philosophy focused on thoughtfully sourced ingredients and environmental well-being. The menu explains this approach and includes a small added fee to support staff, which can be removed upon request. The ambiance is great, with a lovely covered patio and attentive, knowledgeable service. The restaurant validates parking for up to 90 minutes. The creative, botanical cocktails, like the Micro Flora served in a hand-carved gourd, are delicious. The menu features dishes such as Peruvian Nikkei Ceviche with Faroe Isle Salmon, Chapuline Glazed Salmon, Sweet Potato Waffles, and various shared boards. Desserts like the Sweet Potato Chocolate Brownie with mesquite bean gelato and the out-of-this-world Pecan Almond Shortcake are highlights. Guests report consistently great food, drinks, and service across multiple visits, noting the entire experience is filling without being heavy. The overall impression is of a unique destination where every detail is considered.
