Avoid this dealership! I needed to have a recall repair done as well as some work on my sunroof. They said that currently repairs were taking approximately 5 to 6 weeks, and that I had to leave my car there, even though they were not anticipating to work on it until the 5 to 6 weeks later. When I asked the reason why they said it was their policy, but could not provide anything in writing showing that. I don't understand why I could not drop off my car when they were ready to work on it even if I had to drop it off at week early, that would be much better than the 5 to 6 weeks. My car sat there for about four weeks for no reason. They told me they had no loaner cars and never throughout that time did they have one available. The only time I received any communication on updates was when I would call multiple times to request an update. I even reached out to Hyundai customer service to see if they could help and they were also unsuccessful. This unfortunately is the closer dealer to me, but if I ever need anything else, I will be going to someone further away and will never purchase from Red McCombs. I know that one person won't make a difference to them but my hope by sharing this review is that at least others will avoid them as well.

Tried to make appointment for simple oil change/tire rotation/recall issue several times. Never to talk with anyone. Recorded message said appointments were weeks out and to leave name/number and someone would get back to me. NO ONE CALLED BACK. If it weren't for the recall issue I wouldn't go back.

Do not buy a HYUNDAI. The extended warranty means absolutely nothing if you cannot get it serviced. 2 months to get a manufacturers defect (steering column issue) repaired. Finally received a Hyundai loaner after 60 days, so they could fix my car. The SAME DAY, once I drove my car home, there was a popping sound once I turned the car off!! THE SAME DAY I reported it to the dealership and they stated it was a NEW ISSUE and they would 2 days to look at it...AND ADDRESS A PREVIOUS COMPLAINT I HAD THAT WAS NEVER FIXED.. HESITATION and stahling UPON ACCELERATION. (THIS is a dangerous issue not only the steering column bearings that were in need of immediate attention) Did I mention there was an extra screw left out....a BRAND NEW screw..(not stripped at all) LEFT IN THE beverage cup holder? The dealership stated I had to wait for another appointment. (And they could not offer a loaner) Horrible service. Owner of: 2021 Kona Ultimate 17500 miles 1.3.24

I have now owned my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT purchased at Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest for two years. Whatever you do never buy the extended service from Red McCombs, you simply can't get the car in for service in the prescribed intervals. I have decided to write this review after having been on hold for 13 minutes, 48 seconds. Getting an appointment is near impossible. The online scheduling system doesn't work, there are never dates available, even 3 months in advance. Emails are not returned, if you leave a voice mail for a call back it is not returned, and as mentioned if you get a person (2pm in the afternoon) the call will be put on hold indefinitely. They talk about relationship, and it is only talk. In 50 years of buying cars, I have never had worse service. Once you are in they are fine, but getting an appointment, and this is the bad part, I have the extended warranty that includes the oil changes, so they are already paid for, locking me into this dealer. I will likely be buying a new car in the spring; it will not be from a Red McCombs dealership.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The lack of communication during the sales process partnered with a lack of empathy and care for customer service is atrocious. We bought a car from the Genesis side with Tom. He was pleasant enough but very pushy and definitely did not listen to my needs. I explained that I needed a reliable vehicle as I have 4 kids. He promised me up and down that the car he was selling me was safe and had no mechanical issues. As soon as I drove off the lot after purchasing my vehicle with a higher apr than expected...the service light came on. I informed him and he said it was probably just needing to be reset, but to bring it back to service..so I did. I'm not sure if they even did an oil change as promised and & "multi point inspection" that they spoke of Then within a couple days the brake light came on and we found out that the brakes were needing to be replaced and barely had any pad left. When I brought it back to them he said "these things need to be replaced sometimes it's a used car" and I had to argue with them to replace them. They took the car and "did the brakes" We were at my mother in law's house when my bf and his dad opened up the hood. They found out that this idiot service dept also didn't put the filter in correctly when servicing it & the filter was getting wet and was completely bent and ruined. We replaced that ourselves. Well about two weeks later my brakes start making grinding noises and we find out that they didn't complete the job correctly with the brake pads. They didn't torque the caliper bolts correctly and the caliper came off completely and caused major issues to the brake system. We had to take it back a 3rd time and have them fix the brakes that they messed up. That time they left me, a mom of 4, out of a vehicle for 2 days while they fixed their own issue due to negligence, because they "had no loaners available" We are now on month 4 and my service light keeps coming on. My boyfriend had to keep topping off oil, so he decided to check the engine. Turned out I have oil in my coolant. We called twice with no call back, so we went into the dealership to try and give them an opportunity to make it right. What kind of idiot mechanics teamed with idiot salespeople... their way of "making it right" was offering me $8000 less on trading in a shit vehicle that they sold me to sell us an overpriced vehicle they had sitting on their lot for months. So apparently they sold me this vehicle for $8000 over its worth and can't even take their own trash back for the price they sold it to us for. You are welcome for giving you a mechanically sound trade in & taking this junk off your hands. The whole place is under construction because they gouge their customers and refuse to take accountability. Save yourself a trip and go to another dealership.

Highly recommend Hunter Lee! Hunter is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He is very patient and makes the whole buying process easy. If you are looking for a new car and a great experience make sure to ask for Hunter Lee.

Agreed on pricing, I'm filling out the online financing application form and they increased the price. Pretty shady, definitely not coming back. Tony blamed it on the manager who blamed it on market rates. However, this vehicle is priced above the market rates, so.....

Have a re-call on my 2015 Sonata. Tried to contact 'Service' several times to schedule appointment. NOBODY HOME! Leave messages that are NEVER answered. So, ask yourself - would you buy a car from these folks?

I really hate this dealership. I scheduled an appointment for a 1 hour recall job on my Tuscon, ONE MONTH in advance. I took off work to go there at 7:30 am. I was greeted by the service writer, who said "I don't know what they told you but due to our workload we may be able to get to it this WEEK, if you leave it". Dealer is under heavy construction and looks like a dump. Don't take appointments if you can not honor them.

My salesman was Eric Salazar, he took amazing care of me. He answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the choice. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He had complete patience, and I would highly recommend this young man and his outstanding attention to detail and professionalism.

WORST SERVICE EVER! When i finally WAS able to make an appointment, I arrived on time at 8:00am for my oil change ( ONLY AN OIL CHANGE ). They told me it would be 1-1.5 hours. I agreed. at 1.5 hrs I checked and they said another hour because well my appointment was at 8:30am (it was not). I told him it was at 8am and 2.5 hrs is a long time to wait for an oil change, he said you wanna come back? ummmm NO. Just wanted him to say oh, so sorry - I understand, something - but he stuck with his - well your appt was at 8:30am not 8am. I found my text reminder from them, that showed 8:00AM - I showed his and his reply was, well my computer says 8:30AM. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. Also, I have a recall that needs to get taken care of and they said 10 days in shop at least, which really means 20 days to them. WTF - This place is Horrible! No regard for customers, ZERO customer service skills. Just horrible, I will drive further before coming back here. Not even to buy a car, and I will advise other to avoid this place like the plague - this is the 2nd time i have been treated with NO respect. The waiting I can take, the LACK OF RESPECT, NO WAY.

I have been to this location 4 times in the last year. Its always challenging to get in/out due to extreme construction (not seeing much building over the last year). This last visit my car took almost 5 hours for sched. svs (oil change) and recall svs. I was never told it would take that long. At almost 4 hours I asked for an ETA. When I said someone should have told me it would be this long so I could make other arrangements I basically got told "the person who does X doesnt work Fridays so it had to wait for another person who could do it". In light of this KNOWN limiting factor its even more clear I should have been told of excessive time required. Customer service is almost non-existent.
