Restrooms: Restrooms everywhere!Dog-friendliness: There were many others who either held their small dogs, or walked their bigger dogs around the riverwalk.

Amazing. It’s so great how many cool things are in such a small area so it’s easy to do a lot of sightseeing in a short amount of time. If you can splurge to stay in a hotel on river walk do so. Note: most places seem to not accept cash. Come prepared with a cardRestrooms: The one downside there’s only one public one for whole area. so be prepared to spend money if you want to use a bathroom. It’s the one short sided design area of this whole thing… There should be more public washrooms. Even if you have already gone to a restaurant, had a drink with r two and used the washroom while you were there, it would be nice if you didn’t have to buy more stuff elsewhere to just use a washroom an hour or two later.

The San Antonio River Walk is a ton of fun just beware of the edges. There are little clips for the boots to tie up in as well so do not trip on them - I walked this river 3 times while visiting and saw people trip every time so just be careful! There are bars, restaurants and lots of nice photo opportunities. It is a must see if you are visiting and was actually our favourite part of San Antonio :) Bridges and lots of flowers too! They do a great job at keeping it clean - hosing it off every morning and going around on boats to maintain the gardens and plant new flowers. There's structures and sculptures too. Beautiful to see :) It's also lit up at night which is pretty, albeit a bit Christmas-y haha.

The San Antonio riverwalk is great. We walked all off-streets and the loop. Easy stroll with plenty to see and places to stop. We enjoyed lunch on Saturday at the Iron Cactus (wonderful server Sophia, made us table-side guacamole- delicious); Sunday we walked the riverwalk again and stopped at Flume for lunch (good thin crust, wood fired pizza)

Let me describe this amazing experience In detail ;Nestled in the heart of San Antonio, the River Walk is a tranquil oasis that captivates visitors with its picturesque beauty and vibrant atmosphere. During my recent visit, I was truly enchanted by this hidden gem, and it's no wonder why it's often hailed as the crown jewel of the city. From the moment I set foot on the cobblestone pathways, I was transported to a world of scenic wonders. Lined with lush greenery, colorful blooms, and graceful weeping willows, the banks of the San Antonio River offer a serene escape from the bustling city life. The gentle murmur of the water flowing beneath arched stone bridges created a soothing soundtrack to my stroll. As I meandered along the winding paths, I couldn't help but marvel at the charming mix of architecture that graces the riverfront. Quaint cafes, lively bars, and charming boutiques beckoned to me, each offering a unique glimpse into the city's rich culture and history. Whether indulging in a leisurely meal with a view or discovering artisan treasures, every corner of the River Walk held a delightful surprise. One of the highlights of my visit was taking a leisurely boat cruise along the river. Drifting beneath the romantic stone bridges, I gained a new perspective of the surrounding landmarks. Our knowledgeable guide regaled us with tales of the city's past, adding a layer of intrigue to the experience. As the sun began to set, the River Walk transformed into a magical wonderland. The soft glow of twinkling lights illuminated the water, casting a dreamlike ambiance over the scene. I found myself lingering at the water's edge, reluctant to leave behind such a enchanting setting. In conclusion, San Antonio River Walk is a true gem that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, history, and vibrant culture. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a lively adventure, this charming destination has something for everyone. I highly recommend immersing yourself in its allure and discovering the magic of the San Antonio River Walk firsthand.

Well maintained. Good signage allows you to get on/off and cross the river as needed. We walked every direction during our stay and enjoyed the different aspects.
