ZERO STARS BEWARE
I went in for a straightening treatment to reduce frizz. My hair was healthy and virgin when I went in for the treatment. The stylist left the product on my hair for over an hour, not including application time. I wish I knew then that was not normal as it is only supposed to be left on for 30 minutes max including application time. She then used the highest heat setting on the flat iron despite my attempt to ask for it to be reduced as I have thin hair that damages easily, but my concerns were dismissed. I could tell my hair was damaged beyond repair before she even finished. She cut off almost half the length of hair I came in with and my hair was still so visibly damaged. She had the audacity to charge $500 for the terrible service. I went back the next day to ask for some help given the state of my hair only to be dismissed and blamed by the stylist and owner. The stylist tried claiming my hair was very damaged before the treatment, but if that were true, why would she not only move forward with the service, but also leave me unattended with the product in my hair for over an hour? It has taken me THREE YEARS and THOUSANDS worth of hair care products to get my hair back to its original condition and am still not at the length I was at before I trusted them blindly.

I recently visited the salon and had the pleasure of working with Regina. She did an amazing job cutting and adding a gloss treatment to my hair! Regina was incredibly nice, patient, and helpful throughout the entire appointment. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and the results were even better than I imagined. My hair feels healthier, shinier, and I absolutely love it! Thank you, Regina, for the wonderful experience—I'll definitely be back!

OMG I love Isabella Ruiz!! She is your go to girl, she takes her time with you, checks her work thoroughly & reassures you every step of the way! No hidden costs, I called and asked do you guys weigh your product? She reassured me they do, but she would let me know the cost along the way. Well, she very much did as she said. She is true to her word & her work. She’s new but the whole team helps & reassures her along the way (her checking her work). She Hears you & applies her listening skills!! I hope to grow our relationship for a lifetime!! You ROCK Isabella, don’t ever stop being You!

Great salon with excellent service! I’ve been going there for years and I take my daughters—we have super fine hair, super thick hair, and curly hair between the three of us and they always give us wonderful haircuts! Highly recommended salon!???

I’m in love with my hair! Since I moved to SA I was looking for someone who could take care of my hair and since I started with Kassandra my hair is getting healthier, stronger and is growing. She recently did this balayage and it looks amazing and healthy (which is so impressive after bleaching). I recommend her a 100%! Also all the personal is amazing as well.

I’ve been having my hair highlighted at Salon Lumen for about a year. My stylist, Sarah C., is incredible with color. I don’t have regular highlights; I have gray hair and Sarah gives me blue semi-permanent highlights. She is amazing at selecting blues that suit me (no fading to green!!) and places the color perfectly. I get tons of compliments from all kinds of people.I also have naturally curly hair and naturally, I’m nervous about letting anyone cut it (iykyk). I recently wanted a major cut and decided to trust Sarah C. She had done such a beautiful job with the color and she is so dedicated to offering fantastic service…so I took a breath and let her cut! I was THRILLED with the result! She cut off about six inches and my hair immediately looked healthier and curlier!Sarah C. is now my forever and always “hair lady”! Thank you, Sarah! ?
