It was truly a blessing for me during my recent stay. Great staff fair rules and it was kept clean. We all did a brief daily chore and most appreciated and were grateful being there.

Thanks to Marcus and Chris! The shelter is safe, Absolutely clean! The food is absolutely delicious. But there are rules to follow like anywhere else including if the place was yours! I came into the program the day before Thanksgiving 2024, reconnected with family and had a house to continue on to! With what this shelter and staff have to offer,if you fail it has to be you failed!

This was an amazing place. I stay there for about 2 weeks. I loved the staff and my fellow roommates highly recommend. Ps the food was amazing nothing bad to say about this place

San Antonio salvation armies are nothing that Ray&Joan Krok invisioned. These places do absolutely nothing to the people needing something All the want is them donations a disabled vet couldn't get any assistance

Clean facility, good food in a safe place. Be respectful, follow the rules. They are serious about their rules. You have to shower before anything else. The food is good and generous. You have some space and it's clean. The rules are many, but it's what it takes to keep people safe and the place clean.

This place does not HELP the homeless in emergency situations. Just because you do not stay their rule of 3 CONSECUTIVE days they do not allow you to return. Man was turned away for this reason. Stayed 1 night and left for some work then returned after the job ended he had for a couple of days and was told nope can't help you when he returned.But they are real quick to run everyone out by 6am for work. Up to you! ?

Do not stay here past your 3 free days. After that they try to befriend you just to look for ways to kick you out after you paid for the night (12.50) and don't even give your money back. I got kicked out and banned for 3 months for simply asking why 1 guy wrote down my middle name on the check in when nobody else ever has, mind you I was staying there nightly for over a month
