Scan n go took over $180 dollars.
Scanned items, paid, (for whatever reason) it froze, didn't get a receipt, money left my bank account. the best Brandon (manager) could do was let me leave with a refund that MIGHT be refunded within the hour (without any of the purchased items)
OR I can pay ANOTHER $180+ and get a receipt, that way I can leave, and receive my refund for the first $180+ later.
Other than getting sassy with my wife, management did or COULD DO nothing to help.
My wife was angry...
I was angry...
As angry as I was about this situation I maintained complete composure; I didn't yell or get snarky. Didn't knock any televisions over etc...
If I can remain calm, then Brandon, who overall was fine (I understand there was not too much he could do)... he should have been more respectful and courteous to my wife and understood our anger... he rubbed me the wrong way, getting smart with my wife.
It's not the consumers fault YOUR SYSTEM FAILED... AND TOOK MY MONEY IN THE PROCESS. More should have been done. If theres no way. Make a way. No way to treat LOYAL MEMBERS.
I'm poor. I can't afford to lose both money AND FOOD.

They only had one person checking people out. I do not do self checkout because it takes peoples jobs away. If I didn’t need the items bad, I would have left the basket in the middle of the aisle and just left !
