Came to adopt a dog but was turned away because of a fundraiser. I thought you wanted to give the dogs you have a good home? How about doing them during the hours you aren’t open. Like before 12. Or after 6?? Just a thought.

Worst staff i have seen or talked to in years...went in to ask about immunizations for my pet...no one had good information or anything, it was almost like i was dealing with teenagers.

I always have a good to great experience with the Humane Society. What a great organization, and they have always done a great job S/N ferals or strays I bring in the clinic. No deaths, on my watch, which I appreciate. They're organized and, in my opinion, have it together and take good care. Thank you!

We had a stray litter of kittens living on our front porch in Kyle, Texas and looked all over the Austin and San Marcos areas for a no kill shelter that could take them. We had no luck as every shelter in our area was full so we started looking in San Antonio and found SAHS! We were able to book an intake appointment and the kittens were taken into the shelter after a short medical exam! Thank you for saving lives
