I've bought several pair of SAS shoes and have always been happy. This location, and my experience with the employees, has made me want to toss out my old pairs and never buy another product from them again.Last Saturday, I visited the Basse Road location and asked about a pair of shoes I saw online. The salesperson (Diane) insisted that they had all the selections and colors available online and stated that they did not make the particular color I thought I saw. For my own sanity, I checked the site and found the one I had been looking at. Diane was quick to change her attitude and helped me order the pair since it was not available in the store. I was told the shoes should be ready for pickup on Saturday or Monday at the latest.I never received a call on Monday, so I figured I would check with the store before going home. I was quickly told that they didn't have them in yet, and they would call when they were. I let the salesperson know that I had received and email 3 days ago, saying they had shipped. I was told again that they would call when they came. It made me wonder when they would come in, or if they were are the store, because he never even asked for my name or phone number to look up the order.So I called the customer service line on the email I received and gave them my order number. I was told by the associate that they were actually in the store and ready for pickup. My wife called the store back and let them know what I was told. The male salesperson handed the phone to Diane, who gave some serious attitude, much like what I got when I asked for a different color. Diane hung up on my wife mid-sentence by saying she had to look for the order now and she would call back.I just came back from the store and was never offered even the hint of an apology as I refunded my purchase. Diane told me that they were busy with customers and didn't have time to open their shipment. She also told me again that she said she would call when they came in. I said that she now had the pair of shoes that she didn't know about, and she happily replied that she was going to put them out on the shelf for display! Diane continued to offer several other excuses as she completed the refund process, but never once said she was sorry for the way it happened.Had she even offered an apology, or gave me the impression that she wanted my business, I would have kept the purchase and moved on. Diane's lack of any customer service ability solidified my decision to return them and purchase a different brand. SAS shoes is now a maybe someday consideration, but this location is definitely a never again waste of time if you're looking for a location happy to take care of a loyal customer.

Great shoes. I've used SAS for years and u can count on them lasting 2 to 3 times longer than cheaper work shoes.

I come once a year to SAS to buy shoes for my elder mom on her late 60's. This is my 1st time in this store, it was clean. Our sales person: Austin was fantastic! He was super cordial, respectful, customer service driven ....my mom took like 12 pair of shoes and tried them all ?. I'm thankful you stuck with her all the time, and God bless your patience. These shoes never disappoints, they are comfortable, have cushion, a little pricey, but worths every penny.She got the Relaxed Amber (future purchase) Dream Blue ( purchase at the Store).

Robbers!! fake site. They take your money and don't send you any product. you will not be able to contact them either the email given cannot be reached as it keeps saying wrong address so your email goes no where. If you try by phone etc. it tells you the store is closed.

Not your grandmother's shoe store. SAS is known for super comfortable shoes, but there was unexpected style here. Customers of all ages. Great to know this option for my hard-to-find size. Committed and polite attention from srrvice personnel.

Pricy but absolutely worth it. I don't usually spend that much on clothes or shoes but as you get older, you gotta have a good pair of shoes and these are it for me. The staff was super friendly, professional, and helpful as well. I'll be back soon!

I have Peripheral Neuropathy (car accident 2008) in my feet. Had not worn sandals for 10 years, until I moved to Texas, and found an SAS store in North Texas. Yes, they were pricey, but my feet felt great and, well - SANDALS! We visited the Factory in San Antonio - it was a great experience! A beautiful old building, surrounded by antique automobiles. Inside - they measure your feet and stay with you, putting all the shoes directly on your feet. I bought 4 pairs of sandals! Employees are wonderful, sweet and friendly! Lots of other goodies in the store, too! Next time, we'll take the tour!

SAS sells shoes that are comfortable and ready to wear immediately. I have purchased shoes there for many years and those shoes are always ready to wear without the usual "break in" period of most shoes. The materials that go into SAS shoes are high quality, and I generally get great long lasting wear. Since SAS began carrying more "fashionable" shoes they have solved the only problem I had with them. Now they have everything, good quality apparel, value for the money and well trained, efficient staff to solve your shoe needs.
