When the one thing that I never thought would happen to me happened, I felt violated and broken. After 20 + years of satisfaction from SSFCU I was ready to abandon ship. Once it was clear to me what occurred, the first person I encountered with SSFCU was nonchalant and didn't seem to care. The very next day I met Valerie Kela and she was empathetic and showed she cared. I am still working through the situation but I don't speak to any other rep but Valerie. She has gone above and beyond to help me. I still want to be a member at SSFCU. She is an asset to SSFCU and an example of excellent customer service. Thank you so very much Valerie!

Today we opened a checking/savings account! Josh Rodriguez was very personable and easy to talk to and was able to accommodate us with our banking needs. So I come in to the Rigsby@410 branch today to cash my $2800 payroll check that I write to myself every 2 weeks and the teller and one of the branch managers tell me that they’re low on cash and they can’t cash my check so I asked what they were going to do with all the other people that have been standing in line behind me for a long time because that branch has had bad service lately and their answer was the reason they couldn’t cash my check was so they had enough cash to help the other customers like if I was cashing a $100000 checkBAD MANAGEMENT AND REALLY BAD SERVICE!!

"This Bank will Nickle and Dime You every chance they get"Upon Observing online I Noticed that my Monthly Account Protection went up by $3 to $9, went into my local bank to Discuss this issue that wasn't announced on My online Account, the First time i went into the Bank was to shut down the Power Protection on the Account due to in the 8 Years I've been with this Bank I've had maybe One Transaction that was overdrawn, the Bank had Zero issues with doing this for Me, 24 Hours later I'm hit with another $9 fee for, in the Banks own Words, You were into the Month of October by 2 Days, I had to go into this same Bank a Second time, I'm informed that they will try to reverse the $9 Fee but I will start to Incurring a $5 Charge for a Monthly Statement sent by Mail to My Residence, at this point I'm starting to get Irritated at the Bank reluctance of informing Me online of these Statements being put to Me Verbally, this is 2023, not the 1990's where paper statements were common place, if the Banks Reluctant in putting these statements online, (and I did Look), that to me is a Red Flag and it means One of Two things, keep a more Diligent Eye on this Bank and their Dealings with Me, or, Change Credit Unions, I understand the Bank needs to make Money, but the Way they're Concealing this Information and not presenting it online tells me they have something to hide, My Trust in them has diminished to the point of going elsewhere for my Banking needs.*UPDATE*Contacted Corporate, the $9 Fee will be Reversed, Monthly Paper Statements will be Stopped $5, and they will Investigate why I'm not getting updates involving My Account online.

Joshua was awesome I went in to open a new account for my daughter and get me a new debit card . He took care of all my banking needs and I didn’t feel rushed .
