This store is staffed mostly by young employees who are consistently unhelpful and rude. Customer service is clearly not a priority. The selection was extremely limited, and when we asked for help, we were told to either shop online or go out of state. Seriously? Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

I walked to the counter to ask about the Goorin Bros hats. The hats are located behind the counter. Two sales associates were at the counter and not one of them greeted me. They continued to speak to each other. I finally asked to see a hat, the employee hesitated giving me the hat. I ended up just walking out. The customer service was the absolute worst. Zero out of ten, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

My daughter told me that a girl employee looked at her up and down and said “who wears —(naming my daughter’s shoe style)“ and she quickly walked away. If I heard this employee say this to her, I would have had a heart to heart with her and her manager. Is this disrespectful treatment of customers the result of Shoe Palace’s training, or is it just the result of a rude kid that needs to be fired? How many other times has she made your store lose business because of her ridiculous, disrespectful attitude? My daughter wears what ever she likes, keep your closed minded attitude to yourself. My daughter gave me a list of all the shoes she liked and I’m going to buy them all at a completely different store. Shoe Palace will never have my family’s business if this employee isn’t dealt with. Please update your training program and hire professionals not little minimum wage making snobs.

Went in to exchange some shoes that didn’t fit. Found the shoes i wanted in my size and they happened to be the last ones but were a bit dirty. One of the employees (i think the manager) offered to clean them for me and he got them in good quality. even threw in some extra cleaning wipes for free !

Chris seems to be the only guy on the floor actually working. Very nice bloke and helpful.Montez could definitely benefit from some tips from him. Sub par service from Montez does no behind to describe how incredibly awful his customer service to me was.The 5 star is all Chris’ doing.

I will say the staff is really nice! The one guy who stood out to me was the guy who has a daughter and being a "sneaker head" we kinda connected.The only thing they really have the kicks I like or they don't have my size. But the prices are pretty good !

My husband & kids took me to find some shoes for my birthday & Justin immediately offered his help! He was very attentive & super nice! He asked what size my kids wore & took the initiative to go find some shoes their sizes. This kind of customer service is what keeps a store open! Ask for Justin if you are at the North Star location! I promise you will walk out with something & it may even be on sale

I bought shoe online - box damaged shoe got a lot glue sticks on it with a lot of cracked Customer service very terrible- when u want return they need to see why u want return they don't want refund money please be careful with this company Shoe cost 265$ shipping 26$ dollars when u bought online they need to see what u want to return- I read a lot comments about this company complaining about the return - they don't want u guy return stuff if y buy online - u will lost your shipping cost --- please be careful with this company- Material very bad - glued and cracked a lot - box damaged

The store was closed even tho it says opens at 11am I call and the guy on the phone was like we’re open but I can’t open the gate I was like well why not put a sign then he gave me attitude

Was contacted by the manager for my raffle win Thursday for a Friday pick up. Everything goes smooth Friday morning while in store until that same evening I was contacted once again in a very fishy and harassing manner by a different manager (jolene) asking if I had already pick up my winning pair earlier that day when I saw the cashier clearly mark my name off and present my Texas ID/payment.
