Getting the car was quick. The service rep was helpful and nice. Returning it was painless. Docked one star because the back hatch of our Toyota Sequoia wouldn’t close all the way and we never got through to customer service— waited on hold for over an hour and finally gave up. If we had had a real problem, I would’ve been very unhappy.

We will book luxury models.. pictures and office are good.But they will end up giving you cheap brands.While I was here in the airport,I saw other families going without cars.so pathetic

Terrible experience so far! I returned my rental 6hrs. before my scheduled return time. It looks like the attendant didn't update the system properly and I've now been charged for four extra days that I didn't have the vehicle. When I called to get this resolved, I was asked if I have any proof that I dropped the vehicle off at the right time. Are you kidding me?Getting anyone on the phone takes ages - I've spent over two hours on hold, and the promise that someone will reach out in 24-48hrs. is pretty optimistic on their end.Still unresolved, meanwhile I have a credit card charge for double the rental period.

I reserved a suv 8 months in advance just like I do other rent a cars places and that’s to insure they will have the vehicle that I want and the price will be good. Well this time I rented from SIXT I called in in just to make sure that in 6 months I won’t have any problems just to be told my reservation was cancel and to call back 3 months before my vacation. First no one told me it was cancel and two what’s the whole point to making a reservation in advance? Never again will I use them and I have requested my employers take them off as options on our employee portal!

These 5 stars are for Shanta and her wonderful service during my San Antonio trip. She greeted me with enthusiasm, was very professional, personable and efficient. Shanta gave me an upgrade and made my day with her top tier customer service and energy! I’ll be more than happy to book with SIXT San Antonio again.

Mr. MARC at the counter was super! He was professional and efficient with no hassles! He explained everything. Everything was fine until return although I filled up 7.5 of 8 of the tank- $57???? Dddaaannggg. Wow!! All kudos to Marc tho. Ensure full tank all way up. I rented before but holidays gas stations were hard to find open 3 4 am. Sixth had no mercy on that part.

I want to give them 5 stars. San Antonio airport staff is great. However, every time I reserve a pickup truck that end up with none when I arrive. I’ve used them for years at San Antonio. I remember when they first started renting cars there. I don’t know the solution, but it’s very frustrating for sure. I’ve been looking at other options moving forward. I suggest you do the same if you are hoping for a pickup truck.

We were overcharged by 70% from the pre-book quote. Brandon told us we must pay for a second driver since one person booked but the other was driving. After he ran the card, his coworker Shanita said no, there is an override where one driver means one driver but it was too late. Manager Gilmore could fix it in a few days. After a week, I contacted Sixt on ther website... two weeks late, still no reply. Called customer service, after 50 minute hold I gave up. Bad customer service. Hidden fees, check. False promises, check. Not the car you asked for, check. $100 cancelation fee of you decide you don't like Hidden fees. Never using Sixt again....

I would love to change this to a 5. But I can't until someone reaches out to me about an over charge that happened.. This was with the Mgr. Noah at the San Antonio Airport location.. I was told he'd cancel my previous reservation and he'd write me up a new one for half the cost.. I enjoyed the car and the rest of my experience with your agency. Please follow up with me. Eric did an amazing job checking me in at the front desk. He was able to upgrade my compact car to a XT5 Cadillac! I sure did enjoy driving that sucker for the next three weeks. My government travel card had issues but he kept his composure and knew how to tackle that issue. At arrival of my car pickup, I noticed the front tire was low on air, and one young man helped refill the tire. I returned the car with no issues. Never rented here before but I know who to rent from whenever I come to San Antonio again! Very military friendly I would say.

Fantastic experience with Sixt in San Antonio. From Anthony at the counter to the team that delivered the car, I was extremely impressed. They got me in and out in less than 20 minutes unlike my last trip when it took over and hour for Alamo to check main and another hour just to get into a car. When in San Antonio, Sixt will be my rental of choice!

I had a reservation and showed up for my rental a little late. Noah did a fantastic job of finding my reservation and getting me going within minutes. I definitely appreciated how efficient he was! The garage was equally good. I'd definitely rent from this Sixt location again!

I’m 68 yrs old and have been renting cars since I was 22. Point is I have rented a lot of cars with slot of companies. But after my experience with Nancy Leah, I will always choose SIXT. WHY would I say this when usually we’re looking for the best deal. I say this because what’s really important is customer service. I was so impressed that after I left her station I came back to thank her for her outstanding service. But the outstanding service didn’t end with her. It continued with the person who I gave my ID to, and the young man who brought the car to me.

NO WAY TO SPEAK DIRECTLY TO A BRANCH! I so wanted to give them a positive review as they had run out of vehicles that I reserved and they upgraded me; however, I left something VERY important in my vehicle. I placed a lost item ticket on their website and days have gone by, I left messages, I reach a call center where they are unable to help or if they transfer me all I do is leave voicemails. The ability to follow-up with HORRIBLE. I think this car rental service can do better. It is NOT that difficult to simply call the branch and determine if the item is in the vehicle or NOT.
