If you ever have the misfortune of being ordered to install an ignition interlock on your vehicle or required to carry a breathalyzer, this is the place to have it done. Ruben & Hector took very good care of me every time I went in for a calibration, and were very knowledgeable. Every appointment was cordial and expedient. Couldn't ask for a better duo to handle my vehicle.

Ruben was amazing and helped me calibrate my hand held device in minutes. I went to the smart start in Bulverde, seguin and New Braunfels. They couldn’t help me calibrate my device and wasted hours, not to mention gas to get to all of these locations. Shout out to Ruben, great work!

Definitely did not like why I had to use Smart Start but I tell you what, they sure did make it easy and where very informative! Shout out to Hector, he went above and beyond and dude deserves a raise yesterday!

I’m thankful I chose Smart Start for an ignition interlock system. They have been wonderful from the start. Ruben is always kind and efficient in getting me in and out every month. He is knowledgeable and informative in his trade. He makes the process painless. Glad I chose them for my driving needs. Highly recommend for any one needing a device.

Ruben is awesome he is helpful whenever I have questions regarding my account. He gives me updates whenever a change happens with policies, and makes sure he’s a quick as possible whenever I’m getting a calibration. His customer service is on point and makes this process quick and stress free. A bigger plus is that he can conversant about everything even conspiracy theories best in town

This location has honestly been the best location of smart start I’ve been to in the past year of having my breathalyzer! Really nice and helpful customer service ! Ruben really helped out a lot and had me in and out in a couple minutes ! Definitely recommend going to this one !
