My experience with the hairstylist was very unprofessional. Due to my disability. She was telling me that she couldn't do my hair because I am in a wheelchair and that she was really busy with another client and that it's going to be awhile. If you don't fire her (Her name is Aly Jo)
then I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION! Thank you to the lovely and sweet Kanar for taking me in and providing the best customer service experience ever.. She did an amazing job on my hair!

We unfortunately encountered a very bad experience with JCPenney Hair Salon.
We were looking forward to a Men’s Haircut for my boyfriend (since he is coming in from out of town) with Diera at 11am scheduled on 10/18. With confirmation notice given 1-2weeks prior.
Upon our arrival, we were notified that Diera wanted to call out that day. No explanation given at all, they just told us “She’s not coming in today” and they didn’t know why.
No communication from the salon, no communication from Diera.

Made online appointment from Australia, well in advance, only to find out on the day that the Salon doesn’t open until 11am, very unhappy!

Worst service ever at the JC Penny hair salon at the Rim in San Antonio. Pictures says it all. Haircut done by Logan.
Logan -thank you so much for replying to my review. You are CORRECT.. I am not your client. My daughter and I were there at the Salon on March 24th. You cut my daughters hair and someone else cut my hair that same day. We noticed when we left the salon and my daughter straightened her hair, the layers were uneven. We most definitely do not need a refund. I have no intention in going again. It was the worst mistake since my daughter had to cut her hair even shorter. I did try calling the salon today to speak to the manager and no one seemed to answer.
If I could put 0 stars I would. As mentioned before photos says it all. No need to be back and forth.

Yes, they deserve five stars. My mother has been a loyal, Jc penney salon customer since day one of opening. She turned 100 back in May and it’s not always getting around with her walker so easily and would like to shop at all the SA stores BUT only (the Rim) has a WHEELCHAIR available just in case she gets a little tired and needs a ride to the front of the store to check out her items.

I recommend Jasmine. She really pays attention to what you want and your hair type and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in long time.

Let's start out with I have very long thick hair Dariela was more than excited to do my hair. I was lifting red and she managed to cover it with blue so my hair could be the color I wanted. I booked a dimensional color at 5 p.m. I know that it was a bit late and that the process would take a good amount of time but as it let me make the appointment I figured they were equipped to handle it. Instead, I walk in and the stylist glares at me then asked me if I had an appointment. When I told her my name she loudly started going on about how it's 5 and she leaves at 6 so there's no way she's touching my hair and how I shouldn't have made the appointment. She proceeds to lay into me for about 5 minutes about why I was in the wrong and she won't bother doing my hair. At this point I didn't want her anywhere near my hair and asked if another stylist was available. She laughed and said no that the other girls were doing color and highlights that were booked hours earlier and that unless I reschedule for a "reasonable" time tomorrow, she won't bother talking to me any longer.
