Place was pretty dirty and the employees at the registers were busy chitchatting too much , while the customers were lined up waiting to be checked out, employees need to be more attentive to their customers!

I love to meander around TJ Maxx. There’s so much to look at and the prices are great. The downside is when you load up your basket the line is quite long to check out.

I will never shop at the Bandera branch again. I was treated by the manager on the floor like a thief. I spend thousands of a year in theses stores and never have had problem but today. I had a receipt. Originally I bought the item that didn’t have a sku number during Xmas holidays. They apparently put a generic tag on my receipt and charged me. Today I wanted to return the item and this rude man with very bad attitude told me the number was for another item and not the one I was returning. I said but your own people attached the sku to my receipt and he said no. I felt very bad and left the store.

Kevin at the jewelry counter was rude and very disrespectful. Why is he working at such a nice store like TJMax where thousands of people love to shop. A very sweet employee named Zoe helped me with a Hello Kitty vanity bench out to the car. He complained that it was going to have to be him to help, instead a kind and very friendly young lady named Zoe stepped up. This is at Bandera and 1604.

Came to this location around 8 PM. My little sister was looking for a hello Kitty blanket. We approached the first employee and he told us rudely no. My sister and I kept looking where the blankets are at. We passed by the back room and we saw a box full of hello Kitty blankets. And we were about to grab an employee to ask if we could grab one when I’m guessing their lost prevention came up to me and my 10-year-old sister and started yelling at us aggressively saying that we need to leave. He was accusing us of going into the back room and grabbing product when me and my little sister had nothing nor did we step foot into the back room. I get it. It’s frustrating when you have multiple customers coming in for hello Kitty, but I think it’s ridiculous. How they handled a situation like that when we did nothing wrong I will never be coming back to this location again!!!
Yes, I called and spoke to the manager named Nicole. She gave me a false corporate number and hung up.

Not only is it a busy day but they only have 3/8 registers open, it took me a while to get a person to unclip the purse I wanted because (the manager) she was 5ft away gossiping with her employees. The manager didn’t jump in to help her team at all just stood and watched… I asked if I could pay for my purse at the jewelry counter since it had to be a jewelry associate that grabbed it for me and she said no… make it make sense… instead of standing around doing nothing help your team out by jumping in and and getting through the weekend rushes as a team player…

UPDATE: as of October 12, 2024 I have yet to receive a callback from district manager Adriana Gonzalez. I’ve called multiple times to where I’m told she’s “out in the field.” Customer concerns seem to be last priority to this company, which is disappointing.
Dealt with the most rude and discriminatory behavior at this location today 10/5/24. Waited in line to be called to cashier 6 where customer was still being rung up. Manager was ringing up and did not tell me to go back or go to a different register. Proceeded to allow me to wait while multiple people who were behind me got rung up. When I finally got to the register I was not offered a discount or anything. Explained that was poor business and they should’ve had the decency to communicate and coordinate so I can ring up. Manager could not be bothered to apologize or anything so I called him over to explain the rude behavior. Mr. Fred Hernandez only made excuses so I decided to not purchase my ONE item and left. I will no longer be going to this location and will not recommend it.

Hi great store , upon being in the pajama section I found a set for $4 and went for $14.99 but as well as the tank on it had a price on it but assuming it was a set because they were hung together , went to the register and the nice girl up front called her manager , manager told me it’s a set for $14.99 and then rips the $4 clearance price off , a mistake made by them and wanted me to pay for an item I thought was on clearance, they had matching codes as well, horrible way of assessing the situation by not giving me the price it was for but she insisted it was gonna be the $14.99 price I’m upset because why false advertise the price if u we’re just gonna take it from the customer , do better !

Selection varies but many affordable & eclectic selections. T hff e aisles become very crowded and it's very warm in the morning. They also have long lines at registers but cashiers keep customers moving b ut t in a polite and courteous manner.
