Abismal customer service. Walked in, was not greeted by either of the two employees. The one woman who was available picked up a phone call as I approached the counter and stayed on the phone for 15+ mins while a line of 4-5 people accumulated. Apparently there were other uhaul employees on site but nobody was called. After 15 mins of waiting two employees came in off the lot. It still took 4-5 mins before they acknowledged the waiting customers or offered to help.

So I went here on Sunday because
Because Tractor Supply machine for propane is broken and they recommended I come here but was sadly disappointed customer service goes along way and when a employee is more focused on his phone and not the client shows his lack of customer service" I went early so I could refill my tank and he says I needed to remove a extra part that was on my tank that I didn't know if he would've just offered to help I would've made it in time to the bank to go get money out of the atm cuz I asked if they do " TapPay" he was so focused on his phone that he didn't see I got upset. I had to go to AutoZone to ask for a tool.
According to Darious, the only tool they had was a screwdriver! I'm like this is uhaul so I know they have tools he was just to busy to offer any assistance well autozone was great no questions asked they offered the tool and I was able to remove the part he was talking about. I went back and again he was on his phone by the trailers that you could tell he didn't want my business. I only had tap pay to pay, and he says we didn't take it! At this point, I was really upset. I did tell him that if u worked on tips, you wouldn't be making much, but with the attitude or the lack of customer service I experienced. I did contact the supervisor, Mr. Curry and let him know about this incident and how his employees lack customer service. I went again today, and Martle was pleasantly nice. Not on his phone didn't lack customer service, and he apologized for his coworker. I was surprised when he was not at fault. They keep a clean location and have so many services to offer. Just need to tighten the ship when it comes to customer service. I did mention to the manager that I would not go when that employee was there..

I’ve been a regular customer at this U-Haul location, frequently refilling my propane tank throughout the summer without any issues. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me disappointed due to the service provided by an employee named Troy, who identified himself as the owner of this location—a claim that surprised me, as I have never seen him during my previous visits.
I waited outside for about 30 minutes, which I understand as this is a busy location. However, when Troy arrived to assist, his demeanor and remarks were less than professional. Without any greeting or explanation, he immediately removed my tank from the scale and stated, "We’re not filling it up." His tone and lack of customer service caught me off guard.
When I inquired why my tank could not be refilled, he explained it was "too big" and needed to be in an upright truck. While I understand there are regulations regarding propane transportation, I have filled this same 60-pound tank at this location numerous times without issue. When I asked for clarification, such as specific weight limits or tank eligibility, Troy was unable to provide a clear or consistent explanation. Instead, he became defensive and dismissive, which only added to my frustration.
If there are regulations or policy changes that now prohibit filling this tank, I respect that. However, I would expect all employees, especially someone claiming to be the owner, to be consistent, knowledgeable, and courteous when communicating these rules to customers. The lack of clarity and Troy’s unprofessional attitude were disappointing. If I am mistaken about the regulations, I apologize, but the experience highlighted a need for retraining to ensure all employees can confidently and respectfully provide accurate information to customers.
While I’ve had excellent service from other staff members at this location in the past, this experience with Troy fell far below the standard I’ve come to expect. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience for others in the future.

I want to comment that every time I go, the man tells me that nothing is available and the trailers are still there, they don't take them and that another store should go, that I think is called discrimination because it is always the same

I'd like for the company to better explain the fees instead of canceling information until the day of pick up.

Had issues at first with accepting my temporary license and debit card despite the app saying both were acceptable but was able to find a friend who would be the driver and use their credit card for the transaction. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful and overall the process of reserving and picking up was very easy.

Just have a little compassion for what folks are going thru and the uncertainty of where they're going and why they need a uhaul, some of us just need to vent and explain why they're moving or are uncertain about how many miles they're going. When you're told "nah I need a mileage to put on the account", and the employee guessestimates the milage for you. What if someone doesn't have the funds to pay that all up front? I get it's business but a little compassion goes a long way especially these days.
