WARNING: this location hides AirTags in their trucks to track you!
We found an AirTag stuffed inside the seat cushioning after my phone alerted me I was being tracked (see photo). It really freaked us out. The AirTag speaker had been removed or tampered with somehow so that it didn’t play its alarm to find it, but we were able to track it inside the truck to a hole that had been cut inside the top of the headrest. We called the police because we were afraid someone was trying to rob us or track us for some kind of trafficking.
On return of the vehicle, the store was very casual about it and pulled out a sign that had fallen behind their desk, saying they use AirTags to track their trucks (see photo). They should really be more upfront about it when customers get the trucks and maybe not place them in such a sketchy spot in the truck?? And maybe label it? Or put up a sign inside the truck?
My move came to a sudden halt when I was scared for my safety and had to stop my move to file a police report because an unknown person had been tracking me going to an empty house with my stuff. Not cool uhaul!

Check your fuel and take a photograph. The manager flat out lied about the amount of fuel and charged me. Dishonest and horrible customer service

Open 24/7 which is super helpful, and they have a spot to drop of things you no longer want for others to pickup

They charge for every little thing without even telling you first or giving you a courtesy call. I’ve use u-haul in the past and never have had any issues. The gas wasn’t at the line they said it was and because I slipped up and didn’t take a picture of the gas before I got the truck. I didn’t have my normal proof like I usually do. If I can give a piece of advice for everyone is to always always always take a picture of the dashboard!

Catherine behind the counter was unbelievably rude. Talked to me as if i'm an idiot from the moment i walked in the door. Insisted that I was mistaken about my reservation when actually the van was still being cleaned right outside the office. Then the check-in came to a standstill when she tried to call my emergency contact (my girlfriend) and got her voicemail, because she was at work and who ever answers unknown numbers anymore anyways?? i gave her a second person to try, who was also at work and doesn't answer unknown calls. i asked why this is such an issue because i've been renting uhaul from locations all over the place for years and years and never encountered this, at which point she started shouting at me that "if you don't like our policy you're welcome to rent somewhere else, ok actually if you don't like it we can just cancel your reservation" and then CANCELED it in front of me and sent me packing, like a mom taking a kid's toy away. no conversation, no attempt to find a solution or help me at all, just straight up rudeness to the point of losing business to make a point i guess? absolutely insane behavior from a grown woman who manages a business. if speaking to an emergency contact is the new policy that's fine, but help a customer figure it out for like one second, don't just kick them to the curb the moment they're confused by it. absurd and insulting.

My car stopped in the middle of the street and I was able to move on their parking lot.The women at the desk were very generous and helpful with me until I could get my car back up and running. Thank you Catherine and Serenity ??

WARNING: BE CAREFUL RENTING OUT A STORAGE UNIT IN THIS UHAUL, storages have been broken into 3+ times this year, along with people’s vehicles being broken into. The manager is CARELESS and unorganized, she has anger issues ( do not be fool by her voice if you do end up going to this uhaul), along with poor communication skills which driven many tenants/customers away especially when complaining about their units being broken into, locks being cut without consent, or improperly processing payments. Many people have reported Catherine but her higher ups have done nothing to reprimand her. She also say ignorant/racial comments so if you’re hispanic/ African American/ Asian, please be aware.
