IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR 100% CUSTOMER SERIVICE AND NOT JUST NOT 10% DO NOT RENT HERE!!!I rented a uhaul van from here a few days ago and the customer service was average when I came to pick up the van. It was also quick and simple, which I appreciated. The van was also in good condition as well.Although, I will say, when I brought the uhaul back, the customer service was horrible! There was a young guy working there on a Wednesday at around 5:30-6pm who clearly didn’t understand his job duties and wasn’t fully trained properly. He also was very disrespectful and tried to scam me out of money I did not owe and repeatedly kept saying that I owed it! I had to call uhaul 24 hour customer service to get actual understanding for my situation!! Ridiculous!!I let the manager Mr. Martin Rhoades Jr know about the situation and he did not care at all! All he said was that the guy did his job. This manager has no type of understanding of what customer service really means. It’s really sad to see people like this in manager/supervisor roles who don’t care about the company or the customers at all. Self centered man is his second name by the way.IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR 100% CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT JUST 10%. DO NOT RENT HERE!!

This place is the best uhaul location I've been to in a long time. Lots of smiling employees ready to help and lots of trucks and trailers available.

I made a reservation ahead of time for a truck and appliance dolly for 4 hours while I put my things in storage. I am told on arrival that they have my truck, but after 15 minutes of calling around they tell me there are no appliance dollys. I need to move my fridge. Just tell me ahead of time if you can't fulfill the agreement so I can look at other options rather than being screwed over last-minute.

Customer service after 12 noon is horrible! I've been here for over 30 minutes waiting to return a rental truck. THE STAFF DIDN'T GREET NOR ADDRESS ME. IT SEEMS TO GO REAL SMOOTH MAKING A RESERVATION AND VISITING THE STORE DURING MORNING HOURS ONLY!

I read some of the more recent reviews and was a bit skeptical, but I had no issues at all when here. Probably took 5 minutes from walking in the door to being in the driver seat of my rental. I guess they didn’t go out of their way to be overly polite or anything (read a lot of reviews about rude customer service and such) but I had no complaints with my interactions, and care more about somebody just doing their job quickly and well, and that’s exactly what I got here. Also, drop off was just as easy and smooth.

I am about to get my UBOX by 12 and evening I have a flight to catch, but they delayed to the evening, How I have to cancel to flight. Very poor service from this store manager. Reservation #99331396

My first time renting a U-Haul Experience here was awesome thanks to David and Isaac at this location making everything stress free by helping me understand how my contract worked and answering any questions I had. Thank you for you great customer service both David and Isaac for making my experience here stress free and for being so helpful. Would recommend this location to anyone they have a good customer service team.

I was told I could drop off the trailer after hours in the drop off location. I did so and when I disconnected it, the trailer started rolling forward. I was stuck there for 30 minutes until someone nearby was able to help me hold it while I found a rock to hold it. I called the store and the manager told me there was a 4% incline there and I should have noticed it and that it was basically my fault. I guess I should have used a level to see this incline, especially at night. Every trailer ive used has a tongue that reaches the ground and can hold itself in place but this one does not reach the ground and the supervisor does not want to do anything to fix the problem. Maybe like having a trailer drop off spot that is level and not with an incline that can be deceiving. I will be writing this review anywhere I can find it to warn people of the lack of care this location has for their customers. Horrible management who was just rude and very unprofessional. If I could give less than 1 star I would. **DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS**

I will be posting 7 days a week. Avoid #sanantonio location at Grissom. I was injured in the parking lot and now have to deal with the insurance company who treats me like trash. They busted my ankle open and cause me to get a concussion. The management doesn't care to even call me and now Repwest treats me like horribly. #Boycott

Typically I would hire a moving company but I moved from California to Texas and found their U-Boxes to be the most economical. At this point, I would spend the extra money for a moving company or try PODs and never use U-Haul services again. In California I had a U-box for loading my items. During the reservation process, I was never told or made aware through the reservation contract or receipt that a 24-hour notice to access my box would be required. This would have certainly changed my mind about using their services. In California, while loading, I would show up to the facility, they would bring out my U-Box, I would load it and then before the end of the day they would take it back in. I didn't even have to go into the store, I would call them and wait in my car until they brought it out. This let me load at my own pace and when I had help to do so. Fast forward to this location. My box was scheduled to arrive on 6/10. The wording here is very important, SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE and access as of 6/10. I came on 6/11 because I could not make it that day and have my box rented until 6/21. I showed up and was denied access because I was told that I had to call 24 hours in advance so they could "find my box." I asked if there was any way they could bring it out that same day because I ran out of clothes. My request was rejected. They said I could go the next day and they would schedule it for 9 AM. I call their customer service line and was told someone would look into this. I explained my experience and that I was not aware of the 24 hour notice and this had not been enforced with me in California. Once I arrived to my temporary residence, I looked at my rental agreement/receipt and no where did it state that a 24 hour notice was required to access my box. I called again to customer service, this time far more upset. A formal complaint was taken and that was all that could be done. I get a call a few hours later from someone named Taylor, who I assume was a lead or supervisor of sorts. Very rude, speaking over me, and just not listening to what I had to say. I asked her to show me where in my agreement/reservation contract/receipt it stated I needed to provide 24 hours notice. She said it was not there but it was in the FAQs. Again, I explained that I didn't agree to this and it would have changed my decision about using their services. My work schedule and physical disability would not make that notice possible for me. I told her I would have an attorney reaching out to them because FAQs on a website and a rental agreement/contract are two different things. Keep in mind it does NOT state this anywhere on the agreement or reservation receipt. Even their FAQs do not say it's a requirement and very casually state to call them 24 hours in advance. I don't know who reads FAQs over the actual rental agreement/contract. I go off what I am legally agreeing to. Today is Monday 6/12 and I've already talked to my lawyer who is preparing my demand letter to go out. I chat with their customer service twice just to get an address to formally send this to. I then get a call and voicemail (I was in a work meeting and couldn't answer) from a man named Mark. I call Mark back and explain my situation. Again, I get the same thing. Someone speaking over me, being rude and just not listening. He told me they went through the trouble of getting my box out and I didn't show up. Well, this is exactly why I cannot give 24 hours notice. Due to my physical disability, I could not walk this morning and have been in a lot of pain. The ADA specifically says "businesses must make "reasonable modifications" in their policies, practices, and procedures to accommodate a person with a disability." I told Mark that I am not unreasonable, I understand that they can't drop everything for me and that I would have to wait sometimes. This is what I did in California, when I waited for their forklift operator to bring out my box. He said that yes I would have to wait and can only go from 8 - 4.

-100/10 Pro tip: make sure to not reserve a truck becaise they couldn't give two craps oh you have a truck reserved? Nah we don't care we will let someone else keep it low key savage. By far the most disrespectful, unorganized, ect ect place. For a place that services people on EXTREMES like moving and dealing with very stressful situations it would be nice to just have some ounce of Customer service. Don't go here. Rent a trailer from a friend.
