Natural Bridge at entrance was nice. Caves and the usual cave formations were beautiful, well lit, and many labeled with names for what they resembled. Caves were amongst the wettest we have ever seen so the pooling areaa were the highlight for us. Great tour guide. There were many stairs and the path was very very steep at times, so would be difficult for those w mobility issues. Metered entry controlled crowds well. Nice restrooms and gift shop.

We came here for the total eclipse event. They were so wonderful. The tour was fabulous and the zip line course was fun.

For my bday my husband took me to san marcos we did a few things and came across wonder cave. It was so awesome the guides were very informative gave us 2 mins in the each to take pictures and as we were leaving I remembered seeing natural bridge caverns and decides instead of tubing down the river we would go out of our way to go. We got the combo tours the hidden cavern we had good size group the tour was amazing but then we got to the discovery cavern and we're very disappointed. There were almost 40 people they weren't even done taking photos when the group after us came to the door. We didn't get to hear or see half the things because the group was so big by the time we got to the stopping point the guide had already gave the information and the lights were on for a few seconds then turned off. We got yelled at by the tour guide behind us going across the bridge to stay with our group I guess she couldn't see by the people in front of us and we told her they were not even 2ft in front of us. We told her we were we were the last of the group and were with our group. Instead of giving the guest time to take pictures they rush you to get more people in. So if you book a tour and when you meet up if it's a large group you might want to ask for a different time slot or you won't see anything in the light or hear most of information about the tour. I really wish they would have cared more about the experience and cut off after a certain amount of people so EVERYONE that goes gets to see and hear everything. Had I know the discovery cavern your would have been like that we wouldn't have came and would have just went tubing. We were talking about bringing our son to do the adventure tour but are reconsidering because we don't want it to be anything like discovery one was for us.

Absolutely loved the trail, it’s super cool and it’s a nice way to explore nature! Keep in mind that is is about an hour trail, so wear tennis shoes that have grip and something that you don’t mind getting dirty or sweating it bc it gets dirty.

We did the discovery tour. It was really fun! Some areas are tight and low. It didn’t bother us. It’s possible for most people to walk this and enjoy the beauty of this cavern. The tour guide was super informative and pleasant. The beauty in the cavern was amazing! Plenty of options for food and drinks before or after the tour.

The Discovery tour I took was crowded and the people were straggling back. I unfortunately was in the second half of the crowd and could not hear the tour guide's talk. More importantly, the LIGHTS WENT OFF BEFORE WE COULD EVEN GET TO SEE THE ATTRACTIONS!!! and there were about a dozen people behind me that also did not get to see it. So there you are stumbling in the dark with wet surfaces trying to find the guard rails. If they are going to operate like this they should be shut down due to safety concerns. I almost fell. Without being able to see the attractions in the light, the tour is totally worthless.

I went this past weekend for the very first time. There was a large group with us of abt 20/30 people. It took about an hour and a half to do the discovery tour. It was absolutely incredible and we had a blast . Definitely wear good shoes as it can get a bit steep at times but well worth the hike. It was absolutely beautiful and honestly felt like we were on another planet. Can’t wait to go back to the newest cave edition and the safari as well. 1000% check this place out if your in the area. I love the gift shop and af the end of the tour you can purchase the photo they took of you. It was almost $40 for the photos and abt $70 for the tickets with military discount.

Had an off day for our big trip to the area for the eclipse, and a member of our group had been wanting to go to any of the caverns along the way, and Natural Bridge Cavers just so happened to be the closest when we had some free time.Ended up going with the Hidden Wonders tour and really enjoyed ourselves! The guide, Aiden, was super friendly and funny, and they answered any questions the whole group had a long the way, and seemed to show genuine interest in what they were talking about, which ALWAYS makes these kind of tours more interesting. With Hidden Wonders, you descend a pretty decent set of stairs down into a cavern, seeing sights along the way. We initially wore light coats just because it was a bit drizzly outside, but it was definitely warm and extremely humid inside the cavern, so at the least, wear layers! We also brought a small backpack and filled it with a few waters, which was definitely nice to have.Once you get to the end, there's a little interpretive light and audio show you can watch, which was actually pretty awesome. From there, you can either walk up and out of the cavern, or take their BAT system, which is essentially just a conveyor belt for people. They had multiple staff at the bottom and top to assist people on and off the belt. It wasn't too difficult, but it's steeper than you will probably expect, and it's a decent length too, so you're on it kinda leaning forward the whole time for at least a few minutes. Was a fun extra bonus though!Didn't do the Discovery tour, but I believe that one is all walking up/down stairs, so no easy way out at the end! There are also a bunch of other attractions at the location, including a jungle gym thing where you get a harness put on, and then you climb up this huge rollercoaster like structure where you cross narrow bridges and ride down sections of it in you harness. Seemed super cool, but didn't have time to check it out. Think all that stuff is paid for separately, fyi. Also a decent sized food court area, and a few gift shops (one even has a sluice/gold panning thing where you buy a bag of dirt and sift through it to find small gems and stuff; probably a waste for adults, but could be fun for young kids for the $10 or so it costs to do).Not sure if/when we'll be in the area again, but I'd definitely like to check out the other tour and some of the other stuff you can do on site. Just down the street is an animal safari thing, where I think you can drive through a safari park. Again, not something we did, but sounds like that whole area could be a decent getaway for at least a day for a family with a couple kids.

I have seen a lot of caves and these are above-average, but the overall experience is not great. Tickets cost over $30 and the place is a tourist trap. The caves are not that much better than other caves to justify the price. The tour I went on took 1.5 hours. Most of that time was spent standing around due to the large group size and waiting for everyone to take pictures and walk from point A to point B. The caves are warm and very humid, so dress in summertime clothing. If you have seen other notable caves, this is skippable.
