About Valero
Valero is a convenience store known for its reasonable prices and a good selection of products, including essentials like milk, eggs, and cigarettes. Customers appreciate the impressive smoking discounts, especially the deal on cartons of cigarettes, which can save significant money. The store has a clean and well-stocked environment, enhanced by recent renovations that introduced hot food options. Most employees, including Eli, Robert, John, and Brady, are friendly and treat customers well, contributing to a generally pleasant shopping experience. However, some customers have noted issues with certain staff members, particularly during morning shifts, describing them as passive-aggressive and unhelpful. It's recommended to visit after 4 PM for a more enjoyable experience, as the atmosphere improves significantly when these employees are not present. While the store is usually not crowded and offers wheelchair access, there have been complaints about stock shortages, such as being out of fountain drinks. Despite these concerns, many regulars continue to choose Valero as their go-to location for quick stops.
The morning staff, Jody and JoeJoe, are both passive aggressive beast mode control freaks who act like 8th grade mean girls on steroids and try, emphasis on TRY, to tag team bully their customers. They are both ridiculously abusive Narcissists. Always trying to pull off the power play of the day and kick off some drama... read full comment
