Never in my life have I been charged 111.00 for a dog bath - not even a dog grooming just a bath, nails and glands. That is just ridiculous. 150.00 for an allergy shot. I will not be bringing my pet back to this location. Be Aware.

Ive been going to this particular location for over 8 yrs. Dr Sartor & Dr. Fay are great. They take the time to explain things.My all time favorite tech is Jose. He goes above and beyond. He has always been kind and when he interacts with my pets, he treats them like his own.

Have been with Dr Johnson since 2017 always very caring and professional. Since you walk in always greeting you with a friendly smile and treating you and your pet like family . Dr Johnson and her staff go on and beyond to help your furbabies to be comfortable as possible. They are all family.Thank you Dr Johnson on helping mr mauzi on been more comfortable life and enjoying him a little more with us.

I’ve been going here for over 10 years. Dr. Fay and Dr. Sartor have always been a pleasure to see. Both are caring and compassionate. The staff is always courteous and professional. I highly recommend VCA Health Associates!

1st time here, we were able to do a walk in with our new kitten Phantom. At the end they even took an adorable photo of him. Thanks for caring about the animals.

I have been taking my dog here since I adopted her and usually the staff is great but today was not the best. we came in for her regular shots and per usual the tech asked about changes in her diet since she's been vomitting stomach vile/mucus this week.. she's on a vegetarian dog food because that's what she's been on since before I adopted her... she's been doing fine on it and has non vegan/vegetarian treats... I didnt appreciate the techs talking shit about her diet while waiting for the doctor and I didn't appreciate them talking about me like I'm an idiot... if theres something medically wrong with her diet, please tell me, don't be talking behind closed doors. unfortunately, I will keep coming to this vet because it's the closest but the staff needs to know we can hear them talking when the door is closed

Dr. Copeland is rude, not empathetic and just unprofessional.This vet office is corporate and they price gauge the hell out of people. They want $100 for something that costs $30 at my current vet. I do not recommend.

We had an emergency w/ our mama Cane Corso after her first delivery and the staff here helped us right away! Everyone here was very kind and efficient while getting our dog the care she needed. Our vet was very helpful and informative in explaining her diagnosis and treatment plan along with the aftercare instructions. Definitely will be taking all our dogs here from now on! Thank you all so much!

Had a great experience at the clinic. The front desk personnel were very polite and welcoming. The vet techs were kind and patient with my kitty and answered all my questions. The vet diagnosed my cat and seemed knowledgeable about his condition. I'm my opinion, they provided great care. They gave me some extra food, powdered probiotics, and medications..all for free! Shoutout to City of San Antonio Animal Shelter for the free vet visit voucher too :)

I've been bringing my doggos here for years now and this location has always been professional and caring.They've thoroughly explained recommended services and gone over financial options, in case it's outside my budget.

The office was clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful, but it cost me an arm and a leg to get my dog’s yearly vaccines done here. I’m new to the area and had visited a different VCA location in the past so I figured I’d try this place out but I’m not sure if I will establish here as it’s not very affordable.

The staff was great and seemed very caring towards my dog Doc. They opened the door for us, offered drinks and I can't say enough for the tech she was caring and very knowledgeable. Dr. Nelson handled him with so much care and explained everything to us from start to finish. They were no more expensive than our last vet but the care was so much better. Definitely sticking with them.

I recently had to bring my cat here to put her down. The doctor (Dr. Copeland I believe is her name) who treated my cat, explained the process and was understanding. I don't live in San Antonio anymore, but would recommend this animal hospital to those who do.

I followed my vet to this clinic when she moved there a few years ago. She has since left but I kept taking my two cats for wellness visits. One of my cats got very lethargic so I took her in to find out what was going on. I was a walk in, so saw a vet I’ve never used before. She ran blood tests and did X-rays, fluids then prescribed meds and recovery food, and sent us home. My cat got better for a few days then started getting worse again. I was in a panic after spending $1200 and no diagnosis then the wanted an additional $700+ for an ultrasound. I didn’t trust that they would find out what was wrong and felt that they were all about the $, so I called a former client who’s husband is a vet. He was off that day, but rushed to the clinic to see my girl. Within 1 1/2 hours, she was diagnosed with a thyroid issue, a back injury with bulging discs, and a possible esophagus issue. He’s keeping her for the weekend, and giving her pain meds, fluids and accessing the esophagus issue. I felt that my cat was near death and that I didn’t do my due diligence to get her in the right hands the first time. Shout out to Dr. Patin with Country Hills veterinary clinic for coming to the rescue and actually caring about the health of my girl. Needless to say I will not be bringing either one of my cats to VCA again. I’m sure they have competent vets on staff, but after the care received by Dr. Patin, I will continue to take my girls to him instead.
