“Our church group went to enjoy a class activity at Smash-N-Axe. We were met with the most awesomest person ever, Emily. Since we were the only group there, she asked if we wanted to hear a certain genre of music. We request Modern Christian and she happily changed it. Emily showed us how to throw the axe. She helped us throughout our time, with our aim. She was patient, and accommodating, all with a big smile on her face. At the end of the time. She happily took a group pic of us in front of the Viking wall. I highly recommend this spot!!”

“Went here to watch a Lunar New Year's Gala with Schreiner Schreiner University for a global society trip, and it was such a fascinating experience. The performances we watched were not only talented but also very diverse, spreading across different cultures from China. While we got there pretty late, the staff were kind enough to keep us all organized and informed despite the language barrier.”

“We had our daughters Quinceanera here on January 11,2025. I highly recommend. We got the all inclusive package and it was definitely worth it. The staff is amazing, Patty and Meredith were my coordinators for the night and let me tell you they were amazing! I literally did have to worry about a thing, they were so fantastic. At one point I twisted my ankle and Patty brought me slippers, which I was so grateful for! Through the night they made sure everything was good. We chose Only one catering and food was delicious, it was fresh and hot! The bartender was incredibly friendly and did what was requested. Even remember what everyone was drinking. My only negative which was my fault, was unfortunately the DJ we choose. The whole time communication was with James ( Get Lit ) and felt we had a good understanding of what was wanted, when came to the event I dealt with his wife. For the introduction, she rushed everything, she was even asked to slow it down and unfortunately did not do a good job a listening. It was not until I specifically told her what to do, that it was done. Other than the that, it was great, would definitely recommend Granberry for future events.”

The natural beauty of the grounds provided a romantic backdrop that made our pictures look like something out of a magazine. The indoor reception hall was equally impressive, elegant, spacious, and beautifully appointed. It seamlessly transitioned our celebration from the outdoor ceremony to an unforgettable evening of dinner and dancing.

What truly set Magnolia Halle apart was their incredible venue coordinator and staff. Over the two years we spent planning our wedding, Kryssi and her team were consistently responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They kept in regular communication with us, answering every question and addressing every concern with patience and professionalism. This level of attentiveness gave us tremendous peace of mind throughout the entire planning process.

The rehearsal the day before our wedding went off without a hitch. The team made everything easy and stress-free, walking us through every detail. When we needed to make a few last-minute adjustments to our seating arrangements, they were incredibly accommodating and handled the changes with grace and efficiency.
Thoughtful Details on the Big Day
The day of our wedding, the staff went above and beyond in ways we never expected. While the wedding party and my wife and I were away taking pictures during cocktail hour, they brought us hors d'oeuvres so we wouldn't miss out. They even made sure to save some cocktail hour appetizers and delivered them to our suite after we finished photos, such a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated!

“Amazing place, very toddler friendly and my 3 year old has a great time when we go. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the music isn’t always appropriate for children. I heard “oh my gosh look at her butt” (granted the audio was from the movie “sing” which is a kids movie but it’s still not appropriate) and wouldn’t want any kid to come home repeating that. I also hear a lot of love songs and other types of music that seems as though it’s for the adult’s enjoyment rather than the children’s. I would suggest a disney playlist or songs that kids know and can enjoy.”
“My kids and I love it here! It's definitely a little tricky as a mom with an infant and toddler but I feel safer coming here than any other indoor playground. I wish they enforced the 4 and under section, there's older kids that come in there all the time and they just don't play right with the smaller kids.
My daughter had her first birthday party and it was great! Victoria did amazing and was very attentive, helpful, and just so kind to everyone. She was quick to bring a lighter when ours didn't work and they packed up the leftover pizza for us to take home. If either of my kids wanted a birthday party here I would definitely do it again!”
“My little sister just had her wedding here, everything went great. The only issue was some lady in a suit that didn't speak much English bossing people around and getting mad at an elderly lady for incorrectly parking near a door. Other then her I'd give 5 stars.”

“This a great place to visit, I was in awe of the beauty of the place, there's boat rides that goes around of the river, in both side of the river tgers a walkway with statues everywhere, they have an open theater between the exuberant canopy trees, ot takes about 2 to 3 hours to walk around of this section of the river, the place is spotless, recommended ?”

“The down sides to the room: Street Noise! Hallway Noise and it was COLD!!! I could not get it warm enough to sleep.
Staff is nothing shy of AMAZING!!! Valet went and grabbed me a travel mug out of my car.
Room service OMG! Absolutely Above and beyond! I didn't need house keeping but I needed coffee pods, Splenda and creamer. My Server more than took care of my needs. Did mention my dinner? Steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Asparagus was tender and flavored just right. Baby potatoes, melt away! The only thing on my room service tray that was over priced, ice tea! But my server took care of that also!”
“Smaller museum experience. But it was clean, organized, architecturally exciting and therefore our family enjoyed it. The Dino excavation was a fav. The staff was also very kind. The other museum section half was disappointing as many of the hands on stations were broken. I hope they will fix these- very run down feeling. But the grounds were beautiful and well kept.”

“Hotel was in good shape, clean rooms but very wierd smell entering 2nd floor (I reported it and next day smell was gone). Also hot tub needed chlorine for sure! Hotel has lobby bar, restaurant on site, indoor pool, outdoor pool, kids pool and hot tub and nice trail for walking. I would stay here again!”
“The venue is very nice, and I like that it’s not as big as other places here in San Antonio. My husband got TNA wrestling tickets through Vet Tix and he was so excited to go. We enjoyed the show and liked that we were so close, even from our seats in the general admission seats. The only negative is parking! I paid more for parking than our tickets and you had to pay online.”

“I recently visited K1 Speed and had a fantastic time. The electric go-karts are fast, the tracks are well-designed, and the overall atmosphere is thrilling. The staff is friendly and ensures everyone understands the safety guidelines, which is appreciated. However, I'd recommend limiting the number of racers per session and considering skill-based groupings. Mixing first-timers with experienced racers can sometimes lead to a less enjoyable experience for both parties. By making races a bit more tailored, I believe K1 Speed could enhance the fun and safety for everyone involved. Highly recommend checking them out for an adrenaline-packed outing”
