The pharmacy department has gone downhill! I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for 20 years and this particular one is horrible. They are lazy and lie to you so that they don’t have to work on your prescriptions. I will be driving 10 miles more to not have to use this one again. PS- the manager should learn better bedside manners.

Waited for over 20 minutes in line at the pharmacy drive thru. There were only TWO cars in front of me. Once i got up to the front, they asked for some additional time.
Update: STILL waiting. No one has come back to window…..
Update 2: finally decided to press the call button again. No apology. Asked for date of birth and then disappeared…. 5 more min…. Still no meds. Daughter with strep / fever in the car
This is insane. Serve your customers or close.

Sold medication that I needed for my newborn. It took them several days to get it in after the Dr. Had ordered it, and they sold it….
We called several times to ask about the status of the prescription but were never given a solid answer. Now we get to wait again. Thanks for not caring about your customers WG

This Walgreens location on NW military terrible customer service. First the cashier lady just rude but helpful at all. Her face expression speak louder than her saying anything. Then the manager comes to assist and then says I can’t help you much longer because I have stuff to do in the back!! Well he should have been doing that stuff in the back earlier instead of standing at the photo station chatting it up for almost an hour.
Terrible experience over all!

Don’t wait behind cars at the pharmacy if another lane is open, thinking they’ll serve you. Luckily i did get served (unlike the car behind me) after waiting behind another car for 15 minutes, because i had the time and it was only around 5:45pm; the look of disappointment and frustration across the tech’s face should have been hidden as she quickly pulled away the closing sign. Wondering why they were trying to close, i see the sign that they were closing at 6p tonight due to the predicted winter weather advisory.
She wouldn’t even take the time to look up my credit card on file; which is something they always ask if they can do for me. They were in a major hurry!!
(inserting that it’s only 34 degrees, and there is no precipitation. Precipitation weather isn’t expected until 1a tonight — if it comes at all. Often it doesn’t when predicted here.
When i told her a car was behind me, she just shrugged and shook her head no. Then she gave me a smile and a syrupy apology and she rushed me off. Between the time i pulled off and the car behind me pulled up, they had the lights off and the closed signs in place.
This isn’t the first time i’ve observed their unwillingness to serve others. i just hope the car behind me wasn’t needing life saving meds, because they were in line, 3 minutes before their new “closing” time, but the techs were much more interested in beating that incoming snow by 5 hours.
San Antonio workers as a whole are such big snowflakes.

This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst in San Antonio. They need to hire someone competent in handling, ordering, and predicting their inventory needs. 3 months in a row of delayed prescriptions. Worthless.

I was profiled at this store and will never spend my money at this location again. Upon entering, I could feel the stare of the twenty-something-year-old female clerk watching me. This was to such a degree that another customer, who approached the counter ready to purchase, saw the clerk preoccupied with watching me and had to wait to be assisted. The other customer, noticing the clerk's focus on me, alerted me to the profiling.
What an unfortunate experience: you run out of something at home and think you can simply head to the local Walgreens and pick it up without an issue. But apparently, if you're a certain demographic, you're instead made to feel uncomfortable while performing this supposed-to-be simple task.
Store staff like the clerk at this Walgreens remind would-be regular patrons to shop online to avoid uncomfortable, discriminatory treatment. Who needs a simple task ruined by being treated like a threat when all you need are pads?!

I've been to this pharmacy three different times today. The first time, the line just wasn't moving. Cars sitting for more than 20 minutes and not budging. The second time, the staff was out for lunch. The third time, the line wasn't moving again, so I just drove off. I guess I'll get the med at some point, in some lifetime. Probably not this one though. Picking up a prescription here is way more painful than it should be.

Can I just say, Ana working the front cashier counter MADE MY DAY by simply being a nice and fun person! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. ??

The woman that runs the prescription window is horrible!!!!! She is very rude and nasty to customers!!!! If you don’t like your job move on!!!! You do not need to wait on customers, you do not have the proper skills required to wait on customers!!!!! Walgreens management you need to address this situation immediately!! N

I've been a customer of this particular stores for years even when I haven't lived close by because they have been very helpful and friendly in the past. The last few times, both in person and on the phone I have spoken to a very rude female pharmacy tech who has had no interest in helping me resolve this issue. I understand her job is most likely stressful at times and they are likely short staffed however she is rude from the moment she answers the phone putting you on hold before you can say a word, she will also talk over you not listening or trying to understand the issue.Recently I have been filling a newer Rx which is 9/10 times delayed and I am charged twice for 1 month of pills. I understand that's the insurance's policy but it's due to the pharmacy not having enough of the medication that I have to pay and pick up twice a month. I understand it's not a commonly filled Rx but I refill every month, why can't you figure this out? Most of your customers are sick/suffering many are in pain and can't go days- a week every month without their meds. They also deserve to be treated with respect by professional adults who want to try to understand and resolve any issue they are experiencing getting their medication. Please do better Walgreens, in the meantime I will be filling my Rxs elsewhere.
