Their customer service is terrible. They choose not to price match like it's coming out of their pocket. The store is very messy and the staff is very rude especially the manager Matt

The bakery there at the Walmart on Walzam has always come through for us, and given us great cakes. So when I needed cupcakes to take to my daughter's school I knew where I would get them from. I called them up and ordered over the phone, we discussed that she loved foxes, but they didn't offer a fox design. In the end the associate I talked to said she would place and ice the cupcakes in a shape of a fox. However they went above and beyond that! We got the cupcakes this morning and they are adorable! Can't thank the crew there at the bakery enough for making a little girl's birthday extra special!

Being handicapped I use the electric carts when available or just go elsewhere. Which in this store location usually mean have to go other store since they are either being used or in poor working order. The only one available for me today the controls were malfunctioning would not go in reverse and sometimes would not go forward. When I told an employee about it he said not his problem and told me if I don't like it don't shop here.

I went to Raising Cane's to pick up food from the drive thru and noticed a man under a tree with his dog, he did have a sign but he never begged anyone for money or even looked at the cars passing by. He was just minding his business in the shade under the tree, across from this Walmart...wasn't even on Walmart property. I am an Active Duty service member who happened to be in uniform and I noticed his hat said "Disabled Veteran" so I decided to buy him some food. I didn't see anything wrong with buying a homeless person food let alone, a homeless veteran...it's the summer and HOT outside in SATX so I thought I would get him a cold drink. I pulled over and put my hazards on so people could go around and I talked to him for a little bit. He was in the Marine Corps for 15 years (5 yrs in the Army) and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. He was wounded in combat and unfortunately fell on hard times after his mom who he took care of for 8 yrs passed away in 2021. The Walmart employees walked over to him to tell him he couldn't sit on their property/parking lot or whatever....this man served and fought for our country and was wounded in Iraq. Don't shop here...not veteran friendly and this is Military City USA. Smh what a shame, he was treated as if he was a nobody. I've seen his VA ID card also, no one can get a VA ID card without a DD 214! I will not shop at this Walmart on Walzem! The employees are rude af and should be ashamed bc this man fought for our country.

Pharmacy was closed when my wife went for a prescription (1:30-2 for lunch). She waited until 2:10 but it hadn't yet reopened and had to leave. Guess we'll make another trip later.

No stars if I could! This place needs to be shut down!! The entire staff including management is rude and unprofessional. I'd rather drive 15-20 mins away to go to a decent Walmart or any other store for that matter than to drive 5 mins up the street to go here.

A horrid store to shop at for anyone handicapped. My mother is in need of the motorized shopping cart to get about the store, and each time we go to this Wal-Mart store 70% of the time there are no such carts available. When there is, we are told that we cannot take the cart outside of the store at all, even though I have personally returned and plugged the cart for the store after each usage many times as the door greeters know me and my mother by sight as we are there shopping at least 2 to 3 times a week. There are many people I understand who will not return the carts, much less plug them up for the next customer to be able to use. But the store does have cart pushers and clerks always standing about in front of the store inside and outside who's job it is to do this. Why is Wal-Mart management at this store afraid of telling their clerks to do their job...???

Walmart as a whole usually sucks and I don't ever leave reviews but I fucking hate this Walmart , no one EVER answers the phone , I literally have ONE question to be answered like a simple yes or no because I'm not going to drive to Walmart to look for one item especially if they don't even have it. This has happened several times where I just need to know if they carry x item and I usually ring several different departments cause I'm like someone HAS to answer , I felt bad ringing the pharmacy but it was the only department that answered except I got put on hold for almost 10 mins so I guess I'm boutta get in my car to go see if they just have lids for a 5 gallon bucket. Christ on the cross.
