This is a pretty good branch with quality service. Unfortunately, they closed down a few of the other local branches and even after that you have to go to certain ones if you additional services. I would recommend calling for an appointment for anything other than basic services or you could be there awhile. This branch also does foreign currency exchange if you're traveling.

Sad to see how you become a nobody after an excellent account executive left the branch. Before, you were greeted by your name and felt welcome at this WF Branch in Blanco & 1604, now, you need to bring your passport te get them to do a simple transfer transaction. It is NOT nice to see a banker working on his computer while speaking back to you. Will switch back to Chase as soon as possible. Nathan, Rachel and Rita you are missed and needed back for your excellent customer service at this Wells Fargo branch! Javier M.

I noticed no one really reviews banks so I thought I'd add one. I came over to Wells Fargo in the Wachovia deal and although I was sad to see Wachovia (a brand I was familiar with from Philadelphia) go, Wells Fargo has done a good job changing and making themselves as friendly as could be. In a town with more credit unions and small banks than most, the lure of the big name banks isn't quite as strong, but I needed somewhere I could deposit my money in Philadelphia when I was moving and have access to it here. Wells Fargo, like any big bank, loves their fees, but they do make up for it with a friendly, helpful staff. They're not great at research though when you report a problem - 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for a phone call and explanation of why they charged me an overdraft fee while there was money in the bank. I'll probably look for a small bank now that I don't travel as much as I used to. Big bank ATM networks kept me around while traveling, but now the credit unions are calling.
