went there last night and went thru the only cashier open .Greeter had the audacity to tell me 'Let me see if this is on clearance !' nothing like being treating like a criminal in a store I frequent and spend over 1,000. a month..Her name is Maria and she is highly annoying...

Julianna, in electronics, is the worst cashier I have ever seen. I had to wait too long because she was having trouble ringing up the customer in front of me. When it was finally my turn, she did not apologize and looked like she hates her job and the public. Unfortunately, she had to ring me up because I was purchasing an item in her department. I told her I had a gift card and she told me to slide it. She said I didn't have any money on it even though I was pretty sure I did. I asked her if she could enter the numbers on the back but she said they don't enter the numbers. That's fine but she didn't need to be rude about it. Then I used my debit card and she said "You didn't tell me you were going to use a debit card". I said "You told me there is no money on the gift card and you saw me put it back in my pocket". She just repeated "You didn't tell me you were going to use a debit card". What else did she expect me to pay with? Blood? My looks? Shouldn't she have asked if she needed clarification? After all, she was the cashier, not me. Anyway, I was finally able to pay. I hope this was just an off day for her. Otherwise, she has no business working with customers. Now I really understand why Walmart is using so many more self checkouts than traditional cashiers.

Look I love Walmart, this is one of the good ones. But this particular employee I dealt with today was just annoying. For one the app is called scan and go. That means i take the time to scan it myself and put it in the bag making sure I got everything and paid for it. If the employees want to check it afterwards it usually gives them an alert, but they are welcome to look through it even if it doesn't. I've used scan and go multiple times. This Walmart in particular is very attentive to what your scanning through the camera. Good for them, I get it people steal. However, she comes up to me and asks me if I'm using the app. Well with my phone in front of me and me just putting the stuff in the bag, duh. She then says we have to check it all before you put it in the bag. So i take out the three items i put in the bag already and I'm clearly irritated because they've literally never done this at this Walmart. Nor the other ones ONLY if the app had told them to, which is random and that is fine. So I'm going through the whole list with her, showing her on my phone. it was 9 items she's like okay. If i really wanted an employee to go over everything i would have gone to regular check out. Also I'm pretty sure she only asked bc i was dressed in my husbands pants and his tee and my hair was a hot mess. Which is ridiculous.

why do they put people in the service center that do not know how to take care of different transactions I used to go there and never had any problem paying a bill and other issues they have people there that are capable but they're never behind the service desk. they always call for help who is a guy that says front and lead end lead and he doesn't know what he's doing either. my question is why don't you put trained competent people in the service center.

Worst store EVER. Never enough people working and those that do Do NOT CARE! They will stare right at you and NEVER ask if they can help you. And if you ask them they just say that m sorry I can't help with that and walk away. I guess the upside is as they are refusing to help you they are polite about it!!'

I really don't mean to get into other people's business here, but it honestly surprises me how much hate this specific Walmart gets over factors out of its control. Not open 24 hours anymore? A decision straight from corporate. Not able to get your online order refunded in a timely manner? An issue with the your credit card merchant and Walmart IT. Even product prices are out of their hands. I completely understand frustration with things like customer service and store cleanliness/organization, but people seriously need to have some perspective when leaving reviews. Your comments matter and affect how others view the a business. Anyways, my personal experience at this Walmart has always been satisfactory. I've come here during the day at peak shopping time, and at night when it's quiet as can be, and have never had a negative experience. Even during the post pandemic supply chain bottleneck, they've had everything I needed. The associates were present and helpful and not at all rude or ignorant. And unlike a lot of major grocery stores in the area, this location's pet food aisles were always fully stocked. This Walmart is sufficient and will get you what you need. You're not going to be waited on hand and foot, but you'll get in and get out without any issues. Also, regarding my rant. I'm not affiliated with Walmart in any way.

I went to walmart today about had a basket full of grocieries. When I went to the self check out the employee asked if I was using card or cash and I told her card. While I was heading to the register said finally said "Oh btw we dont have bags". I asked her than where are we suppose to put our grocieries She said "Oh well" like she didnt care. So I said ok and just left my basket full of grocieries there at self check out. I wont be going to this Walmart again.

I went to this Walmart location on 8030 Bandera Road 210 520 6517 to purchase an electric air mattress pump along with some other grocery. I made my purchase for curbside pickup. Before I departed to pick up my merchandise I received an email stating that my air pump was not available. When I picked up my merchandise a young lady came out with my merchandise. Her name tag identified her as an Assistant Manger. She informed me that I would get the amount deducted and refunded to my credit card account. It has been almost ten days and I have not received my refund. I called the 1 800 Walmart number only to be told that someone would contact me in an hour. The bottom line is don't do curbside orders at Walmart unless you are okay with them taking their time to refund you.

I want to compliment Hector who works at the Walmart Supercenter at 8030 Bandera Road in San Antonio, Texas. My husband and I are senior citizens, and Hector went out of his way to help us. He not only got a ladder and got down 2 heavy boxes of a specific cat litter we wanted and couldn't get to or lift the boxes but he also went to the back of the store and got us another box that we needed. Hector was so courteous and helpful all with a big smile on his face. He made our shopping experience so delightful. Thank you Hector and thank you Walmart for hiring this exceptional young man! We hope to run into him again on our future shopping trips there.

Low prices, close by, *always open, huge inventory. This store has now lost its main redeeming quality. *No longer open 24 hours. The prices are low, but selection is limited to a lower range of products. They have a breadth of departments, but in 15-20 years, I've probably only bought underwear, sodas, pastry items for a.m. meetings and 5-6 other items on the way to work multiple times. Since I go to work before six, I'll look to other options, as Walmart now is even less appealing.

Had to replace battery on the wife's car ASAP so I took the old one over to nearby Walmart. I was met by Brandon who promptly retrieved the old battery from bed of my truck, identified which battery was needed and processed transaction. Then carried the new one out and loaded it into truck. All in about 5 minutes. Outstanding. Thx.

This Walmart is decent. I had no problems getting what I needed and the lines weren't long to check out. I will go back to this location and you should as well.

Had a very bad experience with a greeter, Irving. He was very rude to me and my elderly mother, demanding to check our bags and receipt. I asked if it was necessary and in return gave me a glare. While we put away our cart, Irving said nothing to a white man who had just as many bags as we did. And yes, my mother and I are Hispanic.

Horrible customer service on a Friday night, no staff. When I asked for help with a locked item several times nobody showed up. It was barely 10pm. I was so mad I wanted to k kick over all the paint buckets that were out.
