There are Walgreens on every corner. So, if you need to go to Walgreens, DON'T go to this one. Female, anglo pharmacist is RUDE and GRUMPY to POC. Loves the white people though. And, this store is ALWAYS out of ad items. This Walgreens is less than a mile from me, but I will travel the extra mile, down the road, to get better service and ad items.SKIP THIS WALGREENS.

They have a limit to receive money but not mentioned anywhere. You need to drive to the location and learn it from the staff.

Walgreens Pharmacy 7802 WURZBACH RD San Antonio, TX 78229 We switched to this Walgreens because ours Walgreens on Culbera never had my Mothers insulin available and ready. I told Culbera Walgreens she was out and asked them to look up a Walgreens that had insulin. They referred me to Wurzbach. On April 16th I went to pick it up. On May 9th it was time to pick up another order. Wurzbach didn't have enough to fill the order so they did a partial and told me come back for the remainder next week. We came back 7 days later on Sunday May 16th and they said it was put in the system wrong and not ordered. They told me to come back Tuesday May 18th. We came on Wednesday May 19th and they said they didn't have it. They told us it should be in tomorrow, but the order was never placed. They told me to call before we come to get it. We live 20 miles away, we only use this Walgreens because we were hoping it was more consistent with its insulin availability to fill prescriptions. I am hoping they can fill the prescription this week as they previously told us they could three times. We will be leaving Walgreens after it is filled. We can't run the risk of having no insulin for my mother.

The management here is horrible. Ruth and yaya have to be the worst managers i've ever come across. Ruth doesn't seem to know what she's doing and yaya seems like he's making stuff up as he goes. He tried bribing me by giving me points so i wouldn't talk to their general manager. Definitely not going there again. I would rate 0/5 if I could.

If I could give a -star I would. I just tried to purchase an item that was on sale for 3.77. I had a coupon for $3 where I still needed to pay cents on the item. Manager Maria told me they couldn't take the coupon because I was only paying .77 on the item and in order for me to use the coupon the item had to be $3.77. She said the final price STILL had to be over $3 the value of coupon. This is the craziest and stupidest thing I've ever heard. I called and she didn't know who her GM was!!! Said she was new and I should trying calling on Monday or corporate. Well I sure will!!! I have the coupon policy on my phone where it states she is so wrong! I know the coupon should NOT be MORE than the final value of item. Not AFTER coupon. I was still paying for other items. I was going to pay over $10 for my complete purchase.

since i had the issues at last walgreen photo i choose to use this one. it sucked more than the last one. yes i said that( wrote lol$) i walk in. thetes 2 employees on floor talking to cashier.i go to photo counter. now one of the employees is milling around items as if really working.one walks off. cashier shuffling around behind counter.they know im there. i dont want to start yet so i turn my back to counter face them.oh yea i forgot to mention the cashier greeted me when i walked in was very friendly).finally ol gal asks me if i need help. ( no im just here for shyts and giggles). i get my pics she says i have to pay up front because she already closed out. now that i think about it she was back there when i walked in and left with her drawer as i walked up to counter. so she knew i was coming there. so i pay the cashier tells me about fulling out survey i say something like you will get a good review but some body wont and i guess he didnt want to hear me say anything bad about ole gal do he cut me off in my mid sentence and said you have a good night. filled out survey in the car. didnt wait to get home.never heard a word...done with that whole store

Justine who answered the phone was very mean when I asked if they carried cookie dough as if she was upset I inconvenienced her with my call, her lack of customer service and inability to contain her own emotions really traumatized me

This portion of the review is for the pharmacy. Specifically Joe Anthony of the pharmacy. He is awesome. If you are in the area, you should definitely give this pharmacy a shot. Walgreen's has tried my last nerve a number of times but recently I encountered Joe and he was so amazing and caring I came back again. I saw him after that and he was the exact same way. I keep giving them shots based on my experience with Joe Anthony and Joe Anthony continues to meet and exceed my expectations. He is knowledgable, friendly, efficient, and caring. You do not seem like another prescription to Joe. If you've tried this Wags before and been underwhelmed (I had), I suggest trying it again and asking for Joe. He will take good care of you. Regarding the rest of the store - it is your basic Walgreen's. No wine or beer here, I believe because it is close to schools! (Not sure though.) Bright orange tags for clearance, always check the Walgreens coupon books for stuff you are buying, always check clearance! Points system has changed: You can now only redeem up to 5k points at a time for $5 off. MAX! However, you can also redeem in 1k increments now for $1 off, $2 off, etc.

So this Walgreens is the closest to where I live right now, and it's open 24 hours, so it makes it more convenient. However, it's always busy and there is always a line. Of course in the heart of the Medical Center, I am not really surprised. But if you want to avoid the crowds, go to a different location. I transferred all my medicines to another location already, because it's just not worth the hassle.

Walgreens 10-22-18 18/100I have to say this location is not only convenient, but the staff here is always friendly and helpful. I recommend checking in to find deals on tech items, they are often marked down and affordable. I have several USB drives and SD cards purchased from here. These are located to the left of the photo department.I also purchase gift cards here, but just an FYI, they DO NOT carry TARGET gift cards. Apparently you can only purchase these from Target directly. I have forgotten this fact often when heading to a Baby Shower, and it seems everyone likes to register at Target these days.Their line of NICE snacks are good and varried, great for those times when I am rushing between jobs and have run out of food :-)I take advantage of their points program also, and let them accumulate with time. These are a perk to have when I'm low on cash. They keep a pretty clean restroom, and the store is always looking up to date with the current seasons.
