PLACE IS A JOKE. SO CALLED MANAGER BY THE NAME OF JAKE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS. STARTS OUT BY SAYING "WHAT'S UP WHAT YOU NEED". I ASKED FOR A MANAGER HE REPLIED THAT HE WAS THE MANAGER. I ASKED HIM IF HE TALKED TO HIS CUSTOMERS THAT WAY HIS RESPONSE WAS "YA ITS A PRETTY CHILL PLACE". I GET THAT BUT ZUMIES IS ALSO A BUSINESS AND AS A BUSINESS OWNER MYSELF Wouldn't SPEAK TO A PAYING CUSTOMER IN THAT WAY CHILL OR NOT. THERE'S A LINE OF RESPECT THAT ALL BUSINESS SHOULD UPHOLD CHILL OR NOT. WE ASK WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY AND SHOULD BE TREATED WITH A LITTLE BIT OF MORE RESPECT ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S THE FIRST TIME BEING IN THAT ESTABLISHMENT.

If I could give them "0" stars I would. There were 3 employees "working" when we went in at about 4:15pm on 4/21/21(If any manager is paying attention) and NONE of them even acknowledged us. There were no other customers in the store and each one of the employees looked at us as we passed them and did not say a word to us. We walked around for about 10 minutes looking for a longboard and then finally left when we couldn't find the one we saw they had online. Non-existent customer service.

When I was younger I used to come here all the time. Here recently I havent gone regularly in years, but I been by a few times, picking up stuff, in and out, but this last time I went to get a new deck, last deck I got had a more mellow concave than I cared for , so I went this last time in hopes to find a deck with a steeper concave. So thats what I asked at the counter, I was told that what they had was what they had. I understood since I know stock may be low for a variety of understandable reasons. I asked again for info on the decks they did have , and was told they were just all standered, at this point the girl seemed irritated with my questions? So I asked to check out a deck for myself to peep the concave up close, she was working on a board, so I said whenever possible, I wasn't ina rush. She said I could go behind the counter and pick the board out myself. I did, ima short dude so I was only really able to reach the bottom boards, so I inspected those. Luckily I found one that seemed to have a steeper concave. I put it back, and waited to let her know thag was the one i was ganna take. She told me again to go behind the counter and grab it. I asked about the griptape, and she said I would have to grab that myself. I didn't know where they had their grip tapes separated, but luckily I found a box of mob grab next to Mando decks. Im not saying this was a horrible experience but it definitely didn't make me wanna come back, or ask questions, or talk about the differences in the decks. I just wanted to walk out with a better board for me than my last one. Also I don't remember the process in picking a deck to be like this but like I said I havent gone in years so things could have definitely changed.

Decided to go to this Zumiez to try it out, since i usually go to the Oakridge one. Felt bombarded by all the staff there. They would not stop asking me if i needed anything or what i was looking for, and kept making dry compliments on my clothing. I came in to buy a shirt, but ended up leaving with nothing. 3/5

Worst costumer service! The girl/guy thing with dreads needs a attitude check! When someone wants to buy something it's not ok to talk down to said customer! All she wants to do is stand around and look "cool" what a joke of a employee. Didn't whiteness much of any work being done by any employees to think of it. Go to la cantera or northstar instead. This location mirrors the ghetto mall its in
