I'm going to be honest. The only thing I tasted was disappointment and regrets. The food is incredibly bland. The crispy tacos had no spices at all not even salt. Plus the shells were burnt and stale. You could tell the oil was really old and probably hasn't been changed or even filtered in goodness only knows how long. It's clear whoever is cooking isn't tasting the food they're making. Otherwise that plate would have never made it out of the kitchen. I gave 2 stars because of the service, servers were great. Scored on the food alone this place gets 0 stars.

It isn't as good as it used to be pre pandemic. I had them cater my daughter's sweet 16, 8 yrs ago and it was awesome! The slices were too thick and under cooked and way too much fat. Sorry but do not plan on returning.

The owner was extremely rude when I called back about an order they made wrong. Absolutely no customer etiquette whatsoever. Came on the line ready to argue no de-escalation experience I suppose. When I calledni asked to speak to a manager, the woman came on swinging with attitude about how all the ingredients were there and they were but it was not made to order. States they were busy ect. I said never mind and what's your name she said this is the owner come jump on it.

I must say we love this place!! But we saw something happen there today. I'm super sorry that this man treated these sweet ladies so rudely. There was a man there today sitting eating in the front of the store. Let me just say I hope he reads this. You sir are the reason people go to jail for throwing hands on someone. If I could have not went to jail I would have beat the brakes off of you.!! Those ladies continued to be nice even after you were such an A$%hole to them They had nothing but respect for you. You are a disgrace to southern hospitality!!!! But to the owner of this place you have some very sweet and kind ladies working here. But future references maybe put up a sign that says we can refuse service to anyone.

Proprietor is my Friend. The Coffee is Hot & Fresh. The Bacon & Eggs are Muy Bueno Taco Bueno. Get a Cold Lone Star while you Are Here and enjoy the Nostalgia of South Texas. This isn't Restaurant Row in Chicago, Dallas, New York. It's Home Cooked and Don't Complain. I was there in 2017 @Funeral.

I really wanted to like this place, but it was just okay. The staff are nice, but most of them are teenagers who don't seem.like they've been trained at all. The food was decent, but lacking in seasoning, and they told us after we ordered and paid that they were out of some items. It's also very inconvenient that they don't have fountain drinks, especially since the tea tasted burnt.

First time to eat breakfast. Tacos were good. Tortillas seemed like a hybrid flour/corn. Different texture. Fillings were great and quite a bit per taco.
