Had a fantatic experience with Clifton. My AC went out and he was able to diagnose the issue, order the parts, and completely fix the problem within 4 days. My AC is the coldest it's been since I purchased the vehicle 6 years ago. Additionally, he cleaned my filters and the car is running so much better than it was when I dropped it off. The service was quick, thorough, and for a price that cannot be beat. I thoroughly appreciated his text explanations, photos, and videos throughout the process. 10/10, I will use him again for any issue I may have with my car.

His 4.9 star rating is an abomination. 10 stars wouldn’t even get close to being accurate. Cliff took my Jeep in for what was supposed to be a routine shock and strut replacement (a diagnosis from a different mechanic). When the car was having the exact same issues after the repair he got creative, rediagnosed the issue, and stayed out for me to get back with the part 30 mins later and do the extra repair that night. Even taught me a thing or two during the fix. Excuse the essay, but I don’t know anyone else who does that. Roll the dice for honest, quick, and quality service from anyone else, or guarantee all three from Cliff. He will be getting all of my business, my wife’s business, and my friend’s business.

I called Clifton to run a diagnostic on my car. He showed me everything he was doing, had me download the manufacturers manual to follow along. He also explained in plain English why he was doing the steps and explained the codes he received. I don't know much about cars and he never made me feel stupid for asking questions. Pricing was very reasonable. Would highly recommend as a mobile mechanic. Unfortunately taking out the transmission is out of my budget. I trust he did everything he could to make sure what was in my price range was checked out. I appreciate the help and should I get another car, I would call him again.

Most trustworthy and experienced mechanic in San Marcos hands down. Cliff taught me about cars and gave me more knowledge than any shop in town put together. I initially brought my car 2008 Infiniti M35 to an auto shop in town for rough idling to which they told me the part cost $300 then after that did not fix the problem said I needed a new catalytic converter $$ and after that job was done they said the engine was knocking and wanted to show quotes for a new engine. My wife and I were troubled with expenses on a new car because obviously a knocking engine means the car is toast.
I took it to Cliff who diagnosed the problem within minutes of me standing there with him and took less than 3 hours to get the engine running back to performance at a price so reasonable it'll make you start going to Church.
