“This place is pretty awesome! The staff is super friendly and talkative and actually wants you to look at their collection and interact with their glassblowers. Ours was a bit hoarse from many art classes but that was ok, we'd seen blowing before. The gallery had so many very intricate designs to choose from. I really liked the cactus designs. They have a bunch of glass installations outside too. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.”

“This is my new favorite place in San Marcos for breakfast and coffee. The staff was amazing and so kind! The food was delicious. I would highly recommend the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast tacos. They are good sized portions. The coffee was also really good. I got a capuchino with honey and my husband got an iced vanilla latte. The outdoor space is also amazing. They have a bunch of large picnic tables outside that would be good for larger group seating. Inside seating is more limited!”

“The Art Center on the square in San Marcos is a wonderful little art gallery. It's a collection of the works of local artists. It is the San Marcos Art League artists, and we take turns as docent and sales person monthly. Each time you go, you will meet a local artist. Come visit!”

“I went to Mud Daubers, which is a fantastic annual pottery and ceramics show, and fell in love with this quirky art community out in the boonies. Hard to describe, but worth exploring. Genuine old school hippie vibe.”
