The cashier Rosie was rude and disrespectful and threatening to call the cops because she didn't want to give us the number to the corporate office and she did that because she doesn't like the person who came into the store

Nancy and the afternoon kitchen crew are a bunch of phenomenal and fantastic people. They are so kind and amazing at their jobs. The tacos never disappoint and I always have a pleasant experience there <3

Don't let this place fool you. They make fabulous tacos and Gorditas. I know the college kids refer to this as like the drunk diner where you get your food in the wee hours of the morning. I think the Gorditas here are as good as any restaurant in town or better. You're watching people make your food in front of you. It doesn't get any fresher than that. Been here many times in the evening to grab something when everything else is closed. I know it's in a gas station and some people might frown on that. Just try it and make your own decision and don't stereotype the place. The food here is to go.

For starters, the lady who took our order was impatient and rude. We hadn't been there before, of course we're going to have questions about the menu! We ordered 6 different tacos to try and we only liked 1 of them. Not a fan.

One of the most clutch gas station restaurants ever. I know gas station food is known for risking a visit to the hospital, but for me, the Torta de Lengua is my go-to for lunch before work and usually takes about 5-15 minutes for the food and the wait is worth it, one of my favorite Mexican food places in San Marcos. There's a quarter machine game that's obviously rigged (like most gambling machines are) but if you can kill 5 minutes with $2 in quarters.

The tacos are great! I just miss when you could call in an order. I feel like they should make it to where you can call in an order again.

Never go there. Way too expensive and they'll get your order wrong every time! Boycott this business! They will rob you!

What a gem. Don't skip out on their tacos, and if you're feeling really hungry, get their burrito arre arre. You'll be glad you did.

I always order 2 Potato and Chorizo Tacos no egg no cheese nothing extra just the potato and Chorizo. My last visit on Tuesday Feb. 21, 2023 the young girl cooking added cheese. Don't know where the screw up was but I did not order cheese in my tacos. Plus by the time I got to the park to eat my tacos the tortillas were soaked in the chorizo grease so I only was able to eat the potato and Chorizo with my fingers and threw the grease soaked tortillas in the trash.I was very disappointed with the tacos I got on this day.Usually they are on point when the male cooks are there.

The time I went was when they only allowed cash not card and I was desperate for water and the cashier lady just had the look of “I don’t give a crap” which I understand she can’t do anything about it but at least try to be nice lol but I felt embarrassed and not welcomed so I left and went to smoothie king and they nicely gave me a cup of water

Immediate 5 stars. Bobcat quickie is the #1 place you NEED to check out in San Marcos. It is super popular for weekend "after the square" food and Sunday morning hangover breakfast My go to is the bean and cheese. It's not just a normal bean and cheese taco. I have never found anything that compares to the Bobcat Quickie bean and cheese tacos. The employees work so hard for all the students that crowd the store and I am so grateful for their dedication to serving college students!!! Over the 3 years I lived in San Marcos I have lost count of the amount of times I have gotten tacos here.

In San Marcos, the breakfast tacos here are decent and better than a majority of the local establishments; however, they are a bit pricey with the added toppings. Overall, the food is pretty good, and they are quick.I thought it was interesting that they use real eggs, which is nice. If you have time before work/class, then grab s breakfast taco.Parking: It's a small lot with maybe 10 spaces for parking, but it is difficult to get a spot early in the morning.
