Rooms are alright. I had an issue with the 3rd party booking site I used and ended up in a smaller room than anticipated. After 3 days driving from VA , I was spent and upset about it. The room was small and seemingly clean. Dated furniture but fine. I called Expedia trying to rectify the situation but to no avail. I then asked the wonderful front desk agent, DONALD, for help and oh my goodness was he a life saver. It's myself and my 2 daughters (8 &10), and there's no way we could have made it work in a queen. It's the week of the eclipse as well. So places are bonkers busy. There's also no way I could've rebooked anywhere else. He was so patient and kind. He truly went above and beyond and we are incredibly grateful ? . The new room was also clean just to notate because I saw they were seemingly struggling with housekeeping. I also saw 2 housekeepers busting their behinds that were also very kind. But DONALD is truly awesome. He absolutely fixed my trip bc it would have been terrible with no sleep lol but he also was just truly warm and so wonderful. I'll totally come back for awesomecustomer service like that !

I called a day prior to ask about the elevator after reading some reviews and was told that it was working. I drive down and check in only to find out that the elevator is NOT working and the front desk agent lied. I was given a room on the 4th floor and had to request a different room because I was not going to haul heavy luggage up 4 flights. The room I ended up with was dirty, had no ironing board and a semi functioning iron. Thoroughly disappointed in this hotel and will not be staying again.The chair had stains, the office chair wouldn’t stay raised once I sat in it, the bed sheets kept coming off of the mattress and the furniture was old and weathered.

As soon as we got to our room our toilet was filled to the brim with ice, we called the front desk and asked about this and they said they were not sure and that they’d get back to us which they never did. The toilet also does not settle, flush, or even really work. There were roaches in our bathroom, yes multiple which is probably because it didn’t look like our hotel room was swept or vacuumed at all before we checked in. aaand the elevators are broken. would not ever stay here again.

We stayed here in July 2023 and it was affordable, convenient and a great place to stay while visiting family. This time (Feb 2024) it feels significantly less convenient. Unfortunately, it feels more like it's turned into a very affordable extended stay location that gets used hard with very little flow up maintenance. We won't be back.Rooms: The rooms are fine, albeit a bit tired. The sheets are nice. Large desk area. Of the three "dresser" drawers, two were broken. They are mostly clean. A/C is iffy, works most of the time. Kitchenette is well-equipped.Safety: The elevator is out of commission, so in the event of an emergency, there would be major issuesFood & drinks: Free coffee and tea, but the supplies are old and not restocked quickly. Ask the front desk, they have access to the items.

Very great service. All of the staff from the front desk to the housekeeper and Laundry service was excellent!Definitely recommend this hotel.Rooms: Room was very clean from the kitchen to the beds

This place needs new management staff. This place also needs management and employees who care all the way around. I was here for three days and the Wifi was constantly down which kept me from doing my work, and the elevator was down the whole time. They said they fixed it the second night, but by morning there were signs on it again. When they booked me in i asked since the elevator is broken can i get a room on the first floor or second at least. That request was ignored and i was placed on the fourth floor. I travel with several large cases of equipment for work and they made me carry it to the top floor without even asking if i needed help. The rooms were clean at least. It will take an act of Congress to get me to stay here again. I will not recommend this place nor will i book any of our employees here.

A small hotel but with everything essential as well as very cozy, I like that it is very close to the Outlet.Thanks to all the staff for their attention, I will definitely return!

I booked a room directly through the hotel (not a third party) in July. We came to San Marcos for family weekend on October 14th at Texas State and found out an hour before check-in that they cancelled our room due to overbooking. They were not very helpful and did not seem to care that we have no where to stay. How do you overbook rooms??? I would not recommend staying here due to the poor customer service.

I agree with the general review about cleanliness & maintanece, the tub drain was sticky (hard to open) and also some of the utensils (ie needed washing). Parking lot lines definitely need repainting. It would have been an OK deal, the staff was friendly, but hotel was charging close to double the normal costs because of a convention.

I booked here not too long ago with my family to help me move out of my apartment. Zoe was very helpful with checking my family and I into our room. Service was great for the rest of our stay.

Conveniently located; however, limited parking (so don't arrive late); one ice machine for the entire place (broken when we arrived); room layout for the suite is quite nice; aging finishes; older and smaller sized TVs; staff was attentive (thank goodness). Bottom line, nothing fancy, but will serve its purpose.

The front desk was nice when we had to work with them while actually staying at the hotel. However, when I checked out and was calling with a concern nobody would answer the phone. I even called the customer service number and they couldn’t get anyone at the hotel to pick up. Customer Service recommended I email the hotel, I never got a response from that either. On the 9th call and 4th day, I finally got someone to answer. When I spoke to her and explained my grievances, she didn’t even acknowledge it.The other issue I have is that house keeping woke us up at 9. When I opened the door, it was for her to tell me check out was at 11. I wasn’t scheduled to check out until the next day. Not the biggest deal, but it could have been avoided.Well here’s my final issue. The reason I’ve been reaching out to hotel is because I left a pair of shoes there. House keeping must have carelessly thrown them out because once I finally had reached the front desk, my shoes were not in lost & found.At the end of the day, it was a decent stay while there. They just need to get their customer service in check.
