CVS Pharmacy inside Target on Barnes Drive in San Marcos is managed by Casandra, the head pharmacist. She is the most knowledgeable, helpful, caring and friendliest pharmacist I’ve ever encountered. She ensures that I am completely informed about all my medications and the proper way to use them as prescribed by the doctor. I will never go anywhere else for my prescription medication needs. .

The most awful customer service, or lack of. You can NEVER speak to anyone over the phone when calling to check on a prescription because they never answer! So incredibly frustrating, especially when you need a medication that needs to be taken urgently.

The female pharmacist that was there today was horrible. She doesn't know what she's doing. She truly should not be left there alone. It was ridiculous! If you're going to help one customer with random stuff that you constantly have to call companies to ask questions about and there's other people waiting, you should ring them up quickly and then go back to your larger task. Not just completely ignore everybody else for 45 minutes while you figure out random prices of things. Someone needs to properly train her on how to do her job. Everyone else that I've encountered there has been wonderful... It's sad that one person can be so bad that they completely ruined all the good experiences.

Pharmacy staff are unapologetically rude. I called with a simple question and after about 20 rings, they hung up on me. I called back later and the lady that I spoke with did not have an answer for me and when I asked for further help she instructed me to come in and stand in line and then immediately hung up on me. Her time is more important than my health issues. Taking my business elsewhere.

Could not recognize this pharmacy more! The pharmacist and techs are super friendly and resourceful! The pharmacist are always willing to help you with any questions and concerns you might have! Thankful for pharmacist like Tina who is super patient and sweet!

Neither pharmacist is ever discrete about your medications; they always speak loudly about what you're taking no matter how many other people are in line. Shouldn't that be confidential? The only upside is that prescription orders are usually ready on time. Will be transferring to another pharmacy.
