I went to buy one tire and wound up buying three after a two hour wait. Their quality assurance was extremely piss-poor since no one checked what the young tech had done. I drove off into the interstate with the new tires and $700+ payment and with 43 psi on them. I went back and only the person who waited on me apologized for the tech’s gross error. I asked him how that could’ve happened and got no answer to my question. I asked the tech the same question twice and he did not respond, either. That will be my last trip there and do not recommend them. Go to Discount Tires, instead.

Kudos to Danielle Aguilar store manager at Firestone in San Marcos.. my tire on my Ford 150 was losing air rather quickly. I was on my way to. Dr’s appointment in Austin I could not miss. He immediately took care of the situation. Replaced it with a new tire and off I went thank you again Daniel for your prompt service.

Would leave 0 if I could. These LOSERS gave me an inspection on my windshield wipers and brakes, and estimated me at $3,700 because apparently I needed a completely new brake system on my car. Apparently my windshield wiper motor was out at well. I knew they were trying to scam me on prices, so I went to another shop, they did their own inspection. Apparently all my car was missing was a single brake pad clip, and a new windshield control arm bushings, which was $14. Don't EVER go here 🤠👍
I went to Pep boys in Austin instead, in case you're wondering.

Just purchased a new used vehicle but already need a new engine. If not for the empathy shown by Daniel, I wouldn’t have been able to make it through this complicated situation. Luckily they helped me tremendously because they were honest about my car’s condition. Thank you guys

Suggested an additional 1000 worth of maintenance on my vehicle. some of the items don't even exist on my truck and others they lie about the labor. over 300 dollars for a fuel filter and says they have to remove the skid plate but the filter is new and on top of the motor. said 73 dollars to replace the cabin air filter...... and there is no cabin air filter. these people lie and overcharge. 350 dollars to change the coolant in the truck. They obviously didn't look because i just put in an aluminum radiator, new water pump, new hoses, coolant filter, and new coolant. the whole system is only a couple months old. they said I needed a new air filter for 60 dollars. I have an aftermarket filter that washes. they couldn't replace it if they wanted to. All in all they didn't even look. they just give you a list hoping you will bite. this immorality and dishonesty I could care less because I am a mechanic. What hurts is thinking about how many elderly and women and men that know nothing about cars look at this and go broke because they think all this needs to be done. not only is it not needed but also a 500% markup. Stay Away! Discount Tire is close and go to a real mechanic for the rest. The olny thing worth going for is the lifetime alignment but thats only if you work on the car a lot and need it done often. otherwise they just banking on you never coming back. I crashed my truck and shattered the rims and tore the tires. Discount tire warrantied all of them for free. no that's customer service.

I brought my car in and was told the timing chain had jumped and that I needed to replace the entire engine — a repair they estimated would cost thousands. I got a second opinion, and not only was there no timing chain issue, but the actual problem was a leaking oil pressure sensor, which was fixed for just over $400.
The second mechanic also pointed out that diagnosing a jumped timing chain requires removing part of the engine — and there was no evidence that Firestone had done any of that, especially because labor like that takes hours and my car hadn’t been there long. They also deleted the engine light code yet never fixed anything. It feels like they either misdiagnosed or rushed to recommend the most expensive option.
I’m grateful I didn’t agree to their suggestion — but extremely disappointed in the experience. This could’ve cost me a working car and thousands of dollars for no reason.

Be careful with a technician named AMIR. He constantly messes up and breaks things, which they will say it wasnt there fault or come up with an excuse. Ive worked with him and seen him do it, dont know how a business can establish themselves with people like that. Causing you to pay extra, BE AWARE if this happens to you.

my car was having issues with shaking and acceleration, and it was time for my engine coils to be replaced.
when i got my diagnostic, they said it was one coil that was faulty and was suggested to change my spark plugs as well.
i paid for everything that was suggested and needed to change. about a week later, the same issues occurred again, and it was the coils again.
i’m having the rest of the 3 coils replaced now, but i wish they had suggested to change them all or let me know that i needed to while they were looking in my engine. the amount of money i spent there that day is equivalent to what it would’ve cost to get all 4 coils changed at once.
everyone was nice up at the front and i had good interactions, but i'm frustrated that within a week and a half i’ve had so many issues with my car that could’ve been avoided if somebody had suggested to replace all my coils. i now have the knowledge that i should’ve had a week ago.

Went there for an alignment. When they looked at my car, they said I needed to flush every fluid I had in the car and change my serpentine belt. I asked to see the belt, and they refused to show me it after they replaced it. Never going there again.
