The park features a soccer program with some of the best fields in the area, making it popular for sports. Picnic areas are available but are separate from the soccer fields. The dam itself is scenic and fun to climb on, with a lookout platform offering good views, even when the basin is dry. Restrooms are not always open, but portable toilets are provided. Although the park could benefit from better upkeep, it offers a nice mix of neighborhood park and natural area. Overall, it’s a good spot for walking, sports, and relaxing with family and pets.
