I went to Goodyear Auto Service after hitting a cinder block on the highway, it messed up my skid plate real bad and I had to come here to get it looked at and taken care of. Mr. Adam was there to help me and he was absolutely wonderful. Great customer service and hospitality. The whole team was kind and relaxed which made the stressful situation so much more comfortable. They went above and beyond to make sure nothing was seriously broken or in need of service. Anything that was going to need fixing they helped me find prices and affordable alternatives.
Also to my fellow ladies!! Felt very safe and comfortable here! No worries about any of that!
10/10 plan to return and recommend to everyone I know!!!

Watch these guys they may try to pull some fast ones on you.
•Replaced my front brakes, which I knew were about ready for replacement, so that's good. And did a brake flush. Thanks for that.
•They may have sold me an unnecessary service, namely control arm replacements.
•Said I needed new sway bar links, but I just got that replaced recently so I said no to the service. Good thing I did, I guess, because when I rotated my tires earlier today I inspected them and checked them for play and there was none. As far as I could tell the sway bar links are good to go, no noticeable problems driving either. They must have loosened the bolts in the shop to make it appear as though they had play or something when they showed me because those things didn't budge when I messed with them today.
•Said my battery was leaking acid. Took it back to where I recently got the battery from and they said there was no battery acid on the battery, nor was there a leak. The battery was fine. Apparently what good year thought was acid was actually the Vaseline I put on the terminals. Yes they don't know the difference between battery acid and Vaseline. Which as far as I know is a very common way of preventing corrosion. I didn't even think to question wether it was acid or not I figured they'd know better than me on that one, guess not... To be a bit more fair I did put a lot of Vaseline.
All that said I do appreciate the brake service and the control arms were installed properly as far as I know, no driving problems or anything. I may have spent about $1000 more than necessary, not 100% sure on that though. So they get about 2.5 to maybe 3 stars, can't give a full five or even four because of the extra shenanigans. I may return only with a lot more caution... Hind sight is 20/20...

I had a nail in my tire. I was aware that I had a tiny slit on the outside wall. They said they couldn’t fix the nail and I needed a whole new tire that was in the high $300’s due to the slit. Ok, got it. They ordered the tire, so I went back. When I got there to pick my car up, they said they couldn’t fix it because my wheel was cracked. They offered to find one, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the wheel that was over $400 and had it delivered to our house. He found the exact tire I needed at Costco for $100 cheaper. So I take my car there and asked them to check the wheel to see if it was really bad. They actually pulled up my car, inspected the tire and wheel. Turns out that the tire WAS REPAIRABLE AND THE WHEEL HAD A SCRATCH and DID NOT NEED A NEW ONE! Also, they said the slit was absolutely fine and nothing to worry about. It was only cosmetic and very unnecessary to spend all that money. I don’t know what kind of crap they pull, but the people there did absolutely nothing but waist my time and cost me money. We went to return the wheel back in NORTH AUSTIN and charged me a $75 restocking fee as well as not being reimbursed for the shipping. This place sucks and I’d suggest getting a second opinion before taking any sort of advice from them.

I recently visited Goodyear in San Marcos, Texas, to purchase four new tires and get an oil change, and I am beyond impressed with their exceptional service. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional.
The team was incredibly friendly and attentive. They greeted me promptly and ensured all my questions were answered before starting any work.
Communication was excellent. They kept me informed throughout the process, providing clear explanations of what needed to be done and giving me updates on the timeline.
The quality of the tires and service exceeded my expectations. They took care of my vehicle with precision and care, ensuring everything was done right the first time.
The pricing was very competitive and transparent. I feel I received excellent value for the quality of service and products I received.
Overall, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had at an auto service center. I highly recommend Goodyear San Marcos for their outstanding service, quality, and fair pricing. I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance needs!

Took my car up there a few days ago for a problem that I had 2 other dealerships look at and couldn’t find. Within a day Terry from Goodyear called and told me they found the issue. Good people up there, go see Terry!

I brought my car to make a line-up the car a few days before I added all the new front suspension and all the new front train where I stayed at 100% new and 4 new tires I brought it to this place to perform the line-up and they gave it to me asletamente I went back to the second day and they left it the same again , the people of this company are not good at their service and it is the peel service that I have received in rodo United States I regret but I will never come back 3 times I came in A third time (4 hours) with the car and they hadn't aligned it and what they gave me is that since they didn't do the mechanical work they couldn't guarantee me that I was going to be aligned they offered me a budget of 2000 dollars, while my Mexican did everything to me for 500 dollars, the worst service they don't come to this place.

We went to San Marcos for a college campus visit. While there we had something grab a plastic piece of the undercarriage of the car causing it to drag the ground causing an extremely loud and frankly, embarrasing noise. Goodyear was the closest place near me so we pulled in there. Daniel and Brandon met me at the counter and said that is something they do on a regular basis. We went to lunch around the corner and by the time we got back they had the car completely ready to go and the problem corrected. When I walked in to the shop, Daniel was there with the keys, a smile, and a handshake and we were back on the road.

If we’re talking about quality service these guys have it. They will accommodate and understand and deliver on what they say they will do. My 07’ Ridgeline was almost in the dirt until they fixed it up for less than 2k. Now my truck is gonna run for a long time until the engine dies- and even then I’m gonna ask them to replace the engine. If your questioning quality of your main mechanic- go here.

For years, I have bought at another tire dealer. Went to San Marcos Goodyear because I need 4 specific tires. Met with Adam, the store manager who was extremely helpful in locating and ordering in the tires I needed. They were in store the next day. His Techs installed mounted and balanced them in reasonable time. They even did an inspection on my truck to make sure I had no unforeseen issues. All is well. Adam's dedication and hard work in much appreciated. I'd suggest whatever he is getting paid, he should get more as he is truly a credit to Goodyear. I see more tire purchases in the future.

Daniel was amazing! Showed up on Fourth of July freaking out because of my car and he went above and beyond… Even went and got a part so we could get on our way00% recommend this location. All the employees were extremely polite.

Had a leak on the way to San Marcos from Houston on a Saturday evening. We barely made it into Goodyears parking lot about 5 minutes before closing and the guys were very friendly and helpful and stayed to help gets us a new tire. They were very professional, made sure everything was taken care of, even though it caused them to stay late. We are very grateful for their time and kindness. Great service all the way around.
