“This is such a great gym! Carlos, who manages the location for Reagan and Lucas (AMAZING PEOPLE), is an incredible trainer and person. The workouts are fabulous, too. Each day, every station's routine changes, and the exercises are attainable for all fitness levels. The facility is always clean and well maintained. The cost is extremely reasonable for the amount of personal trainer interaction each client receives.”

“Kuk Sool Won of San Marcos has excellent instructors and students. Eric is a master of the art; his skill shows through his own training and his students, which is the mark of a great teacher. San Marcos values etiquette and respect above all else, which is a rarity today. If you are looking for a martial arts school that benefits your whole family, emphasizes the core tenants of martial arts training, and is run by world-class instructors... look no further!”

“We were visiting San Marcos for a week and did not want to pay sign up or membership fees. This is the perfect place for travelers or anyone who just wants to go workout and not be bothered by anyone! Had everything we needed! Old school equipment and it reminded me of working out in my high school gym. Everyone super friendly and helpful if you need assistance. Definitely plan on returning if we are back in town.”

“I have not been a gym person because I find the atmosphere intimidating, but Orange Theory is great. The workouts are different every day, you are competing against yourself, and the coaches are helpful and friendly. It's a very approachable environment for those who are looking for ways to get fit, build strength, and be healthier.”

“Gym used to be great before it got sold to new ownership. All previous members were told that they weren’t honoring old memberships, so we got screwed out of months we’ve already paid for. I hope everyone leaves this place since that’s how they want to treat the people that would have signed back on had it been honored.Changing to 5 stars because Daniel is the man.”

“Charles Austin is a great man. He helped me get to state every year in high school for high jump. My senior year I won first place! He works very well with others and has things figured out, for sure. In my experience, he has always been full of wisdom, patience, respect, and encouragment. "Stand tall!"”

“David one of the most knowledgeable coaches in the 30+ years I’ve been involved with strength and conditioning. I’ve seen everyone in the class that I participate in improve and can say the same for myself.I highly recommend that you give this gym a shot as it’s one of the best deals in the area and I guarantee that you’ll be hitting fitness and strength goals very soon afterwards.”

“To start this is by far my favorite gym within at least a 30mile radius. CHILD CARE!!! This gym is almost perfect and really has a lot to offer in terms of equipment and space. Huge area upstairs for warming up and cooling down they also host some sort of bike class up there. Also they have two separate rooms for personal training which is great I always find it difficult to work around trainers and their clients so it's pretty sweet they have their own area. Racquetball court and basketball court. A supper sweet outdoor space with sleds and power racks is a huge plus. They also sell some decent protein shakes and bars at the counter. So far I have only had good interactions with employees. The atmosphere is more old school far from a big box gym, very welcoming and clean. To get five stars I'd like to see these three things addressed. 1. Sauna, I typically see it around 130-140 and that's just not hot enough. I'm not asking for 180+ could we at least see 160? 2. No clocks on the gym floor, I hate having my nose in my phone the whole time at the gym but I really like tracking my rest time. 3. No microwave for the public, we all know diet is the most important part of getting that physique we want. For those of us that rush to the gym on lunch or between classes or what ever else we're juggling something to heat our meal prep up in would be incredible.”

“I really do love this place. The energy here overall is awesome. The customer service is A1. Only writing this review not be a critique, but just a suggestion. There is a lot of equipment here and i appreciate that, I wouldn’t even say any of it is “out dated”, it’s all pretty modern, but I will say their a few essential machines that are missing. These machines are such a big part of our generations gym culture that they’re constantly recommended to use through social media and also they were at my last gym. The standing hack squat machine & smith machine.”

“Pros: accessibility, never too crowded, some desirable equipment (sled, heavy bag), individual showers/restrooms, full weight racks, rate is reasonableCons: slight smell, a little cramped, one-year commitment with startup feesOverall: almost a five-star experience, just not a fan of the contract.Worth it, especially if you work or live nearby.”
