I have not been a gym person because I find the atmosphere intimidating, but Orange Theory is great. The workouts are different every day, you are competing against yourself, and the coaches are helpful and friendly. It's a very approachable environment for those who are looking for ways to get fit, build strength, and be healthier.

Orange theory in San Marcos is really great, They’re really supportive of everyone, they get people out of their comfort zone, me being a bigger guy I was low key scared to go in the first day but right away they were all really nice and they listened to my goals that I had set for myself , throughout the workout they make sure you’re okay , they lead by example , I 100% recommend the San Marcos location especially if you don’t know where to start on your fitness journey.

I’ve been to several OTF locations all over the US and this one is the best! Lainey is such a great coach and everyone here is so friendly! Thanks!

We used to go to OrangeTheory a lot in Austin and we just assumed our experience would be the same or at least similar at most locations. This location was pretty different...we only found one coach who actually had energy/motivation, remembered our names, hyped up the workout...it was weird how the other coaches were so lackluster- you can't be like that at OT! There's just something missing at this location. We were also really surprised that we had to give a 30 day notice before we could cancel our membership, another difference from Austin. So we had to keep going to classes for a month and keep paying even though that wasn't in our plan/budget. We really do like OT workouts but they are just not worth the high price tag, especially if there's only one coach you like... My suggestion is for them to go shadow Mickey's classes at the Southpark Meadows location. I guess this is a downside of various locations having different owners, but since they have the same pricing, they should try to have at least a bit of the same philosophies/strategies/energy/technique.

I've been a member for over 2 years now and still love it. It is great being able to come to class, work hard for an hour and then be on your way. Coaches are always helpful and encouraging, and the workouts challenging. I also like getting an email with your numbers after each workout. Highly recommended!

I used to love otf - until they started taking money from my long time stalker and abuser and started playing music in my classes aimed at emotionally manipulating me. I’ve gone to multiple studios, changed coaches, cried to multiple levels of management and nothing has changed, in fact, it’s only gotten worse. As a company, they’re committed to gas lighting me and protecting my abuser and themselves. It has happened at otf kyle, san marcos, south austin and the domain.

I love the personal guidance I get from the coaches. I know it's always me against me, pushing myself to reach my goals. No one is comparing or judging. There always lots of encouragement!

Worst OTF in Texas by far, maybe the country. The trainer actually cancelled a class 5 minutes before it was to start because I was the only attendee. I commute 35 minutes to attend the class and the trainer Crystal knee this but cancelled anyway. The front desk person goes into an office during all classes to sleep. There was a change up in management in Spring and since the it is horrible. Go to any other OTF for a good workout if you like this type of fitness. it Is a bit too expensive and definitely not worth it for the San Marcos branch.
