My daughter has gone to the PPCP for 2 years and it has been such a wonderful experience. The teachers are truly amazing - they are warm, encouraging, and experienced. There are so many opportunities for free play with natural learning along the way. The school feels like family, and everyone is so welcoming. We have loved being a PPCP family!

This is the place! My daughter started right as she turned three and was very, very, three. Over this school year I have watched her grow so much and the PPCP is to thank for a huge portion of that. The environment is warm, the classrooms are cozy, and the options for play are stimulating and clever (and seemingly endless). Miss Claudia and Miss Christy are so attentive and really see every child for who they are and support them as such. I also really enjoyed my parent days spent at the school because I got to actually see my daughter as she interacted with her peers, what she chose to play with and do, and I watched her change and progress visit to visit. Over all I can’t
recommend this lovely school enough.

PPCP has given out daughter a true gift. It’s amazing to see how she has flourished at this caring and conscientious school. The teachers put their hearts into what they do and it shows. Our daughter loves going to school there and we feel 100% confident she is being well cared for.

PPCP fostered a creative learning environment where students were well cared for. We had such a positive experience in our two years there and look forward to sending our second child.

The teachers and families of PPCP are beyond measure! It has been an honor and a joy to watch our son blossom here over the past year! If you're looking for a kind, caring, adorable environment where your child will learn and grow as an individual while you connect with other kiddos & families in the community, this is the spot!

Both of my daughters have come through PPCP and thrived! We love the play based curriculum, which encouraged our kiddos to explore and be creative in their play and learning while also gaining a solid foundation to build on for kindergarten. The community of parents in the school has been such a gift to us, and the teachers are so thoughtful and intentional in their investment in the children's learning and character development. Highly recommend!!

If you're looking for an excellent part-time preschool for your 3, 4 and 5 year olds, look no further. PPCP has been wonderful for our family who is experiencing the kids being away from us for the first time. The teacher and director are so kind and involved with the children. They are experienced and continue to educate themselves in the best practices for early childhood development. The structure of the day fits this young age so well, with plenty of free choice indoor/outdoor play, books, songs, art and snack time. Both of my kids have grown and learned so much over the last two years and we've enjoyed the instant community that the cooperative has given us in San Marcos. Highly Recommend!

Two of my sons were lucky enough to attend this preschool and I would recommend it to any parent looking for a play-based, creative, small, nurturing first school experience. Any time you step into the preschool you find happy, engaged children thriving under the care and guidance of excellent, certified early-childhood teachers. The unique "cooperative" nature of the school also invites parents into the preschool environment, making it a great transition for your kids and wonderful community for the whole family.

Our experience this year has been so great and wonderful that we are bummed to start kindergarten next year. The community that you get to part of is one full of really great people; the teachers and the parents and the kids! To our family it's the best preschool in San Marcos!

We are nearing the end of our first year at PPCP and we love it! Our oldest daughter is already enrolled for a second year, and our younger will be as soon as she's old enough. The class size is great - 15 kids. There are always two teachers and one parent in the classroom, and many days there are 2-3 interns from the University's teaching program. Where are you going to find adult-to-student ratios like that?! I've never been the least bit worried about my child when we drop her off, and she is always happy and sharing new things she's learned when she comes home. The other children and their parents are wonderful - all of them. You do have to put in more effort as a parent, working one day a month in the classroom and doing additional support jobs as needed. But I enjoy this aspect of the school and it allows me to have a better understanding of what my child is doing and learning all day!

I LOVE THIS CO-OP PRESCHOOL! The teachers and parents of the preschoolers partner to provide an interactive community with excellent ratios for early childhood learning, involving you in every milestone of your 3-4 year old in their first school experience. All of this is still achieved for a far lower price than every competitive preschool in the area. This was my daughter's first year and she will DEFINITELY be attending next year!!!
