I’ve been with RBFCU for over two decades and they’ve never actually been there when I needed them.
If you’re overdrawn, they won’t allow you to directly deposit funds, you MUST physically appear at a branch.
That’s just one example, but seriously, choose any other bank or credit union.

I have been banking with RBFCU for almost 15 years. Today I was charged $24 for a courtesy pay fee because they had to cover $0.89 from a bill that was pulled out of my account late. They only pulled out of my savings account, while I still had money in my other checking account that would have been able to cover the 89 cents. I called to complain and it was basically like too bad sorry we had to pay 89 cents better luck next time. So my checking account was still negative regardless of the courtesy pay.
I guess that’s the thank you for being a loyal customer.

Been a member for 15 years or more. Customer service has plummeted.. No live agent available to resolve issues pertaining to fraud. A virtual agent was provided after a 30 minute wait. I’ve had to spend hours closing and opening new accounts like I’m the one that did something wrong. Do not recommend.

This is worse experience I have ever had when a banking institution. They shut down my account for moving money around to other areas. Their fraud department blocked my account at least 5 times and I couldn’t use credit card or debit card. I have several businesses. I am part owner of trucking company and the broker was making auto payments and they shut down my account because of unusual activity. I had 2 18 wheelers stranded at the gas station because their debit card was blocked. They wanted to was who was sending me the money and why. I told them that it was none of their business. All under the pretense of watching out for my wellbeing. I finally moved my account totaling $360,000.

One of the worst branch staff work in this branch, a member service attendant so condescending towards members that I would never want to step into this branch ever. This financial institution recruits not-so-caring service rep to service their customer and it is a shame for a great organization such as RBFCU

Thank you to Ms.Ross for helping clean up the mess of our account getting hacked. There was alot to fix and she did it. This is why we have been with RBFCU for over 20 years. Thank you very much.

I will start by saying that I have been a member of this bank for almost a decade now and typically don't have any issues with them. While recently traveling through Europe, I had multiple issues with my card being declined even though I put in a travel notification two weeks in advance. I attempted to contact their customer service line, but that's only available during their business hours, which due to the time difference and being a Saturday, didn't help me at all. I then tried to use the app to reach out but they conveniently were doing maintenence on that for the entire weekend, so I couldn't utilize that resource either. After having no access to my funds for two days in another country, I was finally able to get someone on the phone and this is where my rating comes from. The woman that I spoke to on the phone has absolutely no business working in customer service in any capacity. While explaining my issues and concerns, I was consistently interrupted by her trying to pawn off blame on anything and everyone she could. She first tried to blame Mastercard, saying they were the ones that declined my transaction, which I refuted telling her my MC credit card worked fine. She then tried to blame the hotel my card was declined at, stating their system likely didn't recognize it, but again, my MC credit card worked fine. I started to become upset with her refusal to help me and told her this, she stated that she couldn't see any issues on her end and said that I likely just didn't input something correctly and it was my fault this was happening. I became extremely upset by this notion and while explaining my disappointment in her service, she continued to gaslight me, berate me and my situation, dismiss all of my concerns, implied that I was lying about the situation and then decided the best course of action was to just hang up on me. I cannot fathom any business training their customer service agents this way, nor allowing their customers to be treated this way. The best part, I still had issues using my card after this interaction, so don't expect them to actually help you when you're stranded on another continent without access to your own funds. I'll be moving my money elsewhere because of this experience and will encourage everyone I know to do the same. Just an absolutely horrible experience all around.

I tried a few banks, this one is the best in my opinion. Very convenient locations. Always helpful and you don't wait long.

Im starting to regret switching over to RBFCU. They decided to close the lobby and just do drive through transactions; but only have a couple spots open. Waiting over 30 mins to complete a transaction. Like seriously???

I absolutely hateThe drive-thru oneonderworld in san marcos. I always have to wait forever for service. Today I have been sitting in line 15 mins and noone had moved. Ridiculous!! It happens every time... no matter day or time. Very frustrating.

They have a bunch of drive thru bays. Never had to wait to long. Employees take care of the customers.
