The San Marcos Activity Center is a very nice, clean, and well-maintained facility. It is affordable and offers a variety of equipment, six pickleball courts, a ping pong room, a beautiful lap pool, and a great calendar of classes. The staff is generally friendly, though some note they could be more welcoming. The center displays art and decorates for events. Some equipment, like treadmills, has had maintenance issues. A noted drawback is that members are sometimes displaced for private events, and ventilation in the pool area can be poor. Overall, it is a great place for a workout or an event.
I joined on September 4th 2025. It was certainly affordable, clean, friendly staff 5 stars just for that, 6 pickleball courts (the reason I joined), ping pong room!!!
